You get what you pay for
Came as black plastic not green as per illustration.Had also read previous reviews which highlighted that it wasn't too sturdy and that it was hard to assemble. On the first point, you get a lot of capacity for the money and only time will tell how it stands up to regular use. However the tiny assembly instructions aren't really great at all and aren't any help in explaining just how the clips work - you have to work that out yourself but, once you do, it's pretty easy to assemble the whole thing.I found it easier to flip it upside down as that sometimes helped to fit the clips.

Wish I'd gone for something else .......
The container had been severely bashed and consequently there were some random bits of broken plastic falling out, but these were from the bottom of the sides, so it had not effect on the structural integrity of if the compost bins. I'm being ironic on the last bit as the sides are fairly 'flappy' until the structure starts to take shape. Took some figuring out, but you need a great deal of brute strength to force the clips to grip two sides together. Not easy at all. The two middle pieces did not grip together at the top, despite using a load of elbow grease. Now to get lots of stuff inside before the winter sets in otherwise any strong gales could send to the other side of the garden!

Not as hard to build as it many said. Look at YouTube....
I only read the reviews after I bought this and was very worried about putting it together and that the instructions were going to be bad. DSo I did what my son always tells me to do and looked on YouTube for a video of how to do it. There are lots, quite a few with what looks very Eastern European languages but it didnt matter as they had no words. However they were very helpful and enabled me to put it together on my own in 20 mins. As a few other reviews have said it does separate at the top easily where the two units join a=but I fixed that by drilling 2 holes and putting cable ties through - simples. Only real disappointment and hence why not . 5 stars is that the two bins have no separation between them inside. If I'd realised that would have bought two singles. Still will be fine.

Arrived in good time, no problems there at all
Arrived in good time, no problems there at all, however there are no written instructions and assembly is guess work based on a few basic small drawings on the packaging.I did have a slight nervous breakdown halfway through assembly and owe my swear box a considerable sum.It is not robust but will do the job if it's located in an area where it won't get blown away or anchored down somehow. This item is cheap and looks it. As my old Mum always says 'You get what you pay for'.

Putting together was hard and have sore fingers now. Would suggest that that before you start watch the Utube video. This proved very helpful. For example, it is easier to stand inside the bin sides and from above, slide the corner clips into place, as these are stiff. We haven't yet seen the result of the quality of compost so I can't comment on that yet. NB Do not assume that the twin bin idea means that they are seperate compartments, they are not. We will put some mesh inbetween so we can have one bin doing it's final biodegrading while we fill the other up with new veg etc. This is deceptive in the write up. Basically it is one big bin with 800l capacity rather than two 400l.

Not as bad as others make out
Read the other reviews after I ordered this an was in a panic really wasting my money.Fact. It's a composter. Not storing concrete. Just garden waste. Individual panels are flexible but seem OK once constructed.Instructions not brilliant but take 5 mins to sus out and away u go. Took me 10 Mins...1 person and it was complete. The clips. Simple to fit. Don't clip them in place u put them to the top of the two edges and slide into place.Overall looks nice. Good shape. Time will tell how good in use.Yes there is no separation between. I intend to get a sheet of aluminium or similar to create 2 individual composters to rotate.Overall based on price, looks, ease of build, size. I'd give them 4 stars.

No proper assembly instructions, just a badly designed and printed card
The so called 'instructions' for assembly, which consists of 6 blurry low definition grey images printed unhelpfully on a grey card. No written instructions and as other reviewers have commented extremely difficult to work out how to piece together.(and so that it stays together) If you are used to using brute force and have very strong fingers you could do it judging from some reviews,I have assembled countless items, even a kitchen and an outside barbeque trolley with far less problems. The plastic is hard and might prove servicable if it were UV resistant which it is not! I would not buy this product for £20 even rather than the £54 I paid, expecting a quality product. Returned.

This is not for the amateur, it took two technically-minded handymen to erect it. The assembly instructions are very poor, and it was a matter of trial and error. Also, considerable strength is required to insert the 24 plastic connectors which hold the six side panels together. The two-part lids are also quite tricky to put together.
