BEAUTURAL Pack of 3 Replacement filters for Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier, White

The filter may work, but I cannot clean the actual humidifier. There is a section that I just cannot clean the mould off. Anyone got any ideas? I've tried steam cleaning it, but still cant reach it.

The quality is fine, they're easy to change, and seem to work (although that's hard to verify - just realised I can verify it: TDS meter..). They're supposed to reduce water hardness and remove microorganisms. Even if you used RO or distilled water, the filter is an integral part of the humidifier without which it wouldn't work properly, so you've got to buy them at least occasionally... I think £5 each a bit much, considering you're buying 3. If you follow the manufacturer's recommendations (there were 2 different figures with my humidifier, think it was every 200 hrs and 500 hrs), and you run a humidifier a lot or, like me, 24 hrs a day, it adds up.. which is why I only change them about every 2 months, which seems to work fine so far. I use filtered water for my humidifier, carbon filtration, as the water here is very hard. You can't use the type filtered with salt, but you can use water filtered by RO, carbon filtration etc. Some people also use distilled water, but that would be expensive over time. Sometimes, instructions might say that you can't use filtered water or tell you to use straight tap water, like for steam cleaners etc. I think that's for 2 reasons: a) caution, in case you misunderstand and use water filters that add salt and because people might not be sure what filter type they have and B) so that you have to buy their filters/water softening products. I've been using the filtered water in my 1byone humidifier and changing the filters about every 2 months, since I bought it 6 months ago, and it's working fine, and have had no problems. I still get some chalky deposits and the slimy build-up, but far less than with tap water. All humidifiers (at least of this type) need regular cleaning, regardless, and the filters do need changing. So would recommend you buy these, but would also advise using your own judgement about how often they need changing, depending on your water and how dirty your humidifier gets. Edit: have since seen that other brands sell filters that look identical for £9.99 for 3, here on Amazon. Not sure I can mention the brand, it's sometimes not let reviews through when I do, starts with A. If you search "humidifier filter replacement", it comes up. Their instructions are to change every 500 hrs or every 6 months, probably whatever comes sooner.. I will try those next time - these are far too expensive!

3 arrived only find one nearly empty of the beads. The other less then the 3rd one . They not filled the same level. My original one beads a lot higher then the 3 I brought

Filters arrived quickly. The humidifier is absolutely brilliant. It is also an air ionizer and you can use essential oils in it to be dispersed in the room. I noticed a definite difference from the first night I used it, the apartment was not so dry and my sinuses were much better even after only one use. As such I use it every night and also use it in some of the other rooms during the day. I would highly recommend this product as it is of very high quality.

It's hard to enthuse about replacement filters for a humidifier but they are worth 5 stars. Delivered promptly and they do the rather unglamourous job.
