Q: There seams to be no encasing like a down duvet so wondering how the wool does not Ball up to one side. Any one had it long enough to comment?

I have had mine for 2 yearsIt must be that the wool is sew into a panel inside each shape, as mine gets washed often and it all remains in place every time. Iv been happy with it since purchasing it. A lovely well made duvet.

Yes correct but what I did was cover it with a cotton white duvet cover as a slip and then any light coloured duvet cover don't show the cream through. It well worth the extra expense

Q: Where is the polypropylene interliner -between wool layers? Doesn't this affect the moisture dissipation and breathability of the quilt?

I would think this synthetic layer does affect the natural ability of wool to dissipate moisture and the breathability of this duvet. This synthetic layer makes this duvet one to avoid.

Q: I'm a very sensitive sleeper I want to buy one but am worried about the noise people say?

Initially as with all new wool duvets that make a slight noise, different to any standard type of duvet, but I never found it annoying and it was actually quite soothing. Once the duvet is bedded in a bit more then it softens up and becomes like any other duvet. We have all changed to wool duvets in our house since we initially bought it for our daughter who has multiple allergies and switching to a wool duvet dramatically improved her quality of sleep. We bought one for us as standard duvets were either too hot or too cold, with the wool duvet we don't have that problem anymore and no need to change duvets for summer either. We also recently bought one for a second daughter who suffers from really hot feet at night that would wake her up, since changing her duvet she doesn't wake up in the night. A godsend for us and don't worry about the noise, you initially notice it because it is different to any other type of duvet, but once used for a bit the noise softens and you also get used to it and soon you don't notice it at all.
