Top quality and cheaper than Morrisons!
I normally buy Whitworth's popcorn for quality from Morrisons for £1.75 or 35p per 100g, the cost of these including postage works out at 32p per 100g. They are also a better quality as I get more corns popping, with less waste and a better flavour. There are some expensive popcorn machines that you can buy and special microwave containers. I use simple Microwaveable Food Bowls which in any case are very useful, you can buy a set of three on Amazon.Popping is simple I put about three tablespoons in the container and put the lid on loosely with only two flaps in case it lifts off. My microwave has a 1000 watt turbo which I use for three minutes, the ones that do not pop I leave in the bowl and put them on again for another three minutes. Sometimes I get more pop on the second go and have tried a longer first popping but there is a risk of them getting burned, three minutes is just about right with very little waste. This comes in 3 x 1kg bags, and what effects popcorn more than anything is moisture, I store the open bag with a clip to seal it out of the kitchen. The other two bags I vacuum pack to keep them moisture free and prolong their shelf life.

Glad i took the risk!
Having had trouble with kernel quality in the past I was taking a risk buying a load of this, but I need not have worried, it's even better quality than the stuff I had been buying beforehand (East End, sadly Morrisons has stopped stocking it) and I'm glad I came by this brand. In the past I've bought 15-20kg sacks of "cinema" grade corn for popping as I eat so much (who can blame you after you've had fresh, hot popcorn from your air popping machine?) but found that not only did my cinema sack contain weevils (yuck!) but the corn was split, dry and generally not tasty either. I've since bought small bags and scrutinized quality, this one will be on my list of definite buys for as long as it's available!Great value, fast shipping. Only trouble I had was a kilo bag had split in the post, and as I opened my box my floor was coated with kernels...! Small gripe considering good quality. Probably a one off incident.

Delicious!
I love popcorn and I buy a lot of it so decided to try popping kernels myself. I just put these in a pan with some oil, on a medium, heat and they worked really well, I got loads of popcorn from just a scoopful of kernels so they will last ages, very economical and the popcorn is nice and fresh and hot, can't complain!

Almost top marks
When bought in bulk these are a good price. However, I still find a lot of un-popped kernels. Now I know this can happen with some cheaper brands and it all depends on freshness, but this first batch was straight out of the bag and some never popped. And BTW, I am using a proper pop-corn-machine.Still good value, I would still recommend and the flavour is fine.

Popping corn is so easy in a pan.
Lovely quality popping corn, I use a large saucepan with a lid not any silly machine and I get perfect results all the time. Using the saucepans lid to measure out the corn, fill the lid with a single layer of corn, tightly packed but not piled up an a layer of oil about a kernel deep in the pan, heat the oil on a hot plate or full gas ring, till it starts to smoke then tip the kernels in put on the lid and pop pop pop, once popping keep the pan agitated that way you won't burn the popped corn and you'll get most if it popped, also as it starts to pop turn the heat down to half.Season with caster sugar or salt of which ever you want.

Nice but be careful!
Although the pop corn was tasty, one of the bags had split before next use. The expiry date wasn't that long either, less than a year. Good value and tasty however.

tastes great
I thought it was great value for money especially when its a £1 just to buy a fresh cooked bag from supermarket. I use ghee butter to make mine then add salt and butter when done :)

Good quality product
our original delivery went astray by Royal Mail but the replacement has arrived today and the number of unpopped kernels was amazing. Hardly any at all compared to the supermarket bag! These people have been very helpful throughout and I will not hesitate to use them again once the kids munch their way through all the popcorn the bag will make. Don't underestimate how much this bag will make for you, two spoonfuls has made a cinema style bagful with some to spare! All leads to enjoyable experience.
