Huge variety of line if you master the angling of the fude nib. I find it better that the two larger siblings partly because of the ferrule on the cap that allows carrying the pen firmly anchored in my pocket

Very good pen. Needs a little practice to get used to the holding angle for line width adjustment. Can't fault it.

This has become my everday pen at work, it writes very smoothly and I find the fude nib really easy to use. I'd recommend giving it a try especially for the price.

An unusual nib that takes some getting used to, but fun to use. Holding it near vertical draws a fine line, whilst holding at a very low angle draws a broad line. It came with a couple of cartridges, although I spent a few pounds extra buying a Sailor convertor. Pretty smooth steel nib (although 'nail hard') when you hold it correctly. You can use this for writing, but it takes some getting used to, it's arguably better for drawing (or replicating Kanji characters!). It's plastic, but not bad quality plastic.

Very disappointed with the purchase...expected a medium nib received a HF ...the nib unfortunately does not match the buttery smoothness expected. It is quite scratchy while writing... Moreover paid VAT over and above the price paid on Amazon
