For a precision product and being so cheap I was sceptical as to how well it would perform but as the job I needed it for didn’t need absolute precision I picked one up.First impressions are that it is a solid instrument and has performance to match. The body is steel and of good quality and the back plate which can be screwed on/off is of similar quality.As for the instrument itself, repeatability and reliability are key. This instrument has proven in my tests to have both. Will it be the same in a years time? I’m not sure but I have a good outlook for it.I like the fact that there is a serial connection on the gauge and I hope to incorporate that into my project.

For the cost, the quality is amazing.

A nice piece of kit at a good price, easily the best dial indicator I own :) Quality seems good, mounting options are limited - it's not a fault with the product as it has what seems to be a standard setup (replaceable back with a substantial metal mounting point) but I've never owned a dial indicator and had to bodge something up to get it fixed to a useful place on my 3d printer (should have thought about it before hand). It' impressively sensitive and seems to offer decent levels of repeatability - certainly within the tolerance of my less than precision setup.I'd really like one that could output to a PC/Arduino or has an on board memory but there's nothing in this price range.The worst thing about this is that the 'zero' button is impossible to press without changing the reading - I imagine that this is a problem with all such sensitive gauges but don't have the experience to work around it.

Good, accurate dial indicator at good price ands was delivered quickly = excellent service.Easy to use, good sensitivity and it works.

The item arrived as scheduled. It was well packaged and comparing accuracy with my analogue measuring tools, it does exactly as specified. The DTI seems well made and sturdy.

I have a small machine shop and typically use Mitutoyo to measure various milling and lathe operations where I often work down to 5 microns.I got one of these a couple of years ago and after 2 years of weekly use on my lathe to centre workpieces in the chuck I have found out to be excellent.It still measures repeatedly against my laboratory standard gauge blocks and the readings are still aligned to my £235 Mitutoyo digital indicator!!How good is it? I am on here now to buy a second one to use as a depth gauge on the mill so the original can stay on the lathe :)

Seemed like it was made decently enough to be usable for basic measurement, but the one I received had a strange fault - during use, the zero point would jump up in 0.1 inch increments (2.54mm) - so when I set zero, then pushed the probe in, and returned to zero position, it would sometimes show 2.54mm instead of 0.00, and on further use this would then jump up to 5.08, 7.62... etc.When i took the back off to change from the flat base to the one with the flange on the back, I noticed looking inside that the circuit board had a scratch on it, across some of the sensing elements, so maybe that was it. Had to return it but I think I'll buy another because they seem decent for the price (assuming I get one which works correctly this time).

This feels like a sturdy solid product in the hand and looks well crafted. I'd had a problem with the first gauge I received but after a short chat with a member of VinTeameu a new gauge was swiftly dispatched to me and is working fine. To be honest I'd never heard of Neoteck products before this but if this gauge is typical of their other products in build quality and accuracy I might try the Neoteck Digital Angle Finder for my saw blade. Tested the accuracy using a ream of feeler gauges and the product was spot on the money at each measurement. Obviously time will tell regarding its durability but thus far I'm a happy customer.
