Does what it says on the box, great bang for your buck!
I work in security where good time keeping is essential. After my old, posh watches band fell apart from the rigors of the job and standing duty in wet weather, I decided I needed a watch which could take a licking and keep on ticking but I would not cry over if it did happen to break. My new Casio watch was delivered swiftly, looks great, following the included instructions it was easy to adjust the time, date, day and seems quite rugged. It is easy to read, even without my reading specs on. The luminescence doesn't last so very long, but this is not a big issue as I most always look at it with some source of light on and can still read it even in low lighting. One flash with my maglight will charge the luminescence for a few minutes. I forgot to take it off when I hopped in a hot bath, but the watch was absolutely fine, no problemo. So the water resistance feature seems to work fine too. The Casio Collection Men's Watch MRW-200H-1BVES looks like a much more expensive watch, does what it says on the box and is great bang for your buck, I highly recommend it!

A superb buy for under £20.
An excellent beater watch for a pocket money price. Clear, crisp dial with some lume, though the lume fades quickly as you might expect for this price. Other reviewers have mentioned the somewhat unintelligible instructions for quick-setting the day/date complication: the way round the problem is to forget about the quick-set and do it the long way by turning the hands through the hours to the time/day/date you want, then everything lines up nicely and changes when it should.Comfortable but rather thin strap with a plastic buckle, but again quite solid and will probably last for years. The bezel works well and stays in place despite not having a "click". 100 metre's of water resistance.Keeps excellent time as you would expect from a Casio quartz.A superb buy for under £20 that looks good and does the job. 5 stars.

A good budget watch with one or two flaws.
The watch has a clear display which I find pleasing. It has limited luminescence which is not as useful as a back light but is viewable in some conditions. It is accurate, robust and waterproof. It would be good for people with poor eyesight, the date is easy to read. The above factors raised it to "four stars" in my eyes, but there are problems which might have dragged it down to "three".The rotating bezel rotates both ways, but is very stiff and difficult to move and position accurately. There are sharpish edges on the bezel which make rotation uncomfortable. I don't think the watch would be suitable for people with weak or arthritic hands, if they make frequent use of the bezel as I do. The bezel doesn't have click stop settings, but just holds it's position by being very stiff. I use it a lot, so have got used to the fact that it is awkward. The watch has lasted over a year; two watches at a comparable price range broke down and had to be discarded. The other two had scratch resistant mineral glass. The plastic lens on the Casio has lasted reasonable well, with a couple of light scratches which are not visible unless you look for them. The plastic strap has also lasted far longer than I expected. It occasionally pinches the skin on the wrist when you put it on and has to be put on again, but it is generally reasonably comfortable and washable.I found the date display with two different adjustments for month and day took me several days to figure out, but now works OK. You have to reset it when the days of the month change. The instructions for the watch are poor, but it's not complicated. To sum up, a good watch for the price which performs better than other metal cased watches, which don't look plasticky and are better specified on paper, in the same price range. This is offset by one or two irritating features which you have to learn to live with.It is still going strong after many months.

The best value watch I ever purchased
This CASIO watch arrived in 24 hours with Amazon Prime. it's light and comfortable to wear. I set the time, carefully following the instructions regarding setting the day/date. I immediately saw that the date was 12 hours behind the calendar, easy to resolve - wind it forward 12 hours. Don't just wind the day date setting, The instructions do advise to understand the period of day when the two day/date move in sync with each other. I set the time by stopping the second hand on the 12 and followed the time display on my iPhone, setting the time when both second sweeps were at 12. During the week that I have had the watch, it has not lost 1 second! The watch face displays a water resistance of 100 metres. I have seen a video on YouTube, by an accredited watchmaker, who tested this model watch's water resistance to 50 metres. It passed. That's in excess of 150 feet depth. The general appearance is a "divers type" watch, easy to read, combined day / date calendar, sweep second hand and a good rotating bezel. The lumen in complete darkness, is not as strong as I would have wished it to be, but overall I am very pleased with it...and all for less than £15. I feel confident that it will give good service...Really good value.
