Perfect for ethernet throughout the house
Using a super long ethernet cable throughout the house wasn't an option so I chose to use this product, and I could hardly notice the difference. Very low ping at 31ms and worked so well my roommates chose to get their own, which didn't even interfere with my setup.Very easy to setup, just plug them in and sync with the button. Has a long enough duration to sync alone so you don't need to yell "Syncing" throughout the house lol.

Expectations Exceeded
Working well, it exceeded my expectations because I've never had to use one of these before. Signal in the area was poor because of some interference with the signal coming from the pole. Even after fixing the signal it still wasn't at full speed upstairs so I was advised by the engineer to buy a line adapter so he was right. The speed has been what we paid for with the help of this tool. Easy to install too, the cables could be longer though but all in all good product.

Great bit of kit to help hard wire devices in other rooms. Poor utility software through.
I bought this to enable me to have my Mac Mini desktop computer in the bedroom connected to a more reliable network. I have used TP-Link Smartline products before and found them easy to install and do the job. I have recently upgraded my internet speeds to beyond the capacity of my previous adaptors so upgraded to this kit. The plugs are as bit bigger and because they need to be plugged in the all means you have to be careful where you plug. I have a square set of 4 plugs so it can only be used on the top to as it will sit foul of the plug above. Soon as you have them plugged in together and all wired up to your router and device with the provided Ethernet cables (x2) you simply press the pair button on the router one and then pair the other adapter and they instantly talk to each other. Lovely, nice and easy. So the main reason I opted for this was to assist in the WiFi drain issues we encounter in our household, trying different measures to ‘hard wire’ internet/WiFI signal hungry fixed devices like my Mac, PS4 and Apple TV. These seemed like a cheap option and it works really well, my ISP pumps in up to 216MBps into our household, so I it really flies...however on the LAN via TP-Link the Mac can only manage 125MBps everytime, ok it still is not slow but I should be getting better. I decided to see if I can change the settings on the TP-Link adaptors and there is a utility app available to download...on windows. Thankfully I also have access to windows, I eventually downloaded the app just to find it could not find my device.... the instructions of how to use the utility software is awful and in the end I have up. I have down marked the tech support on this, because it is awful, no Mac compatibility for the utility software and even then it does not work. Terrible. Back to the product however, yes it does work and for the most part has done the job I purchased it for.

Pretty good - good value - not great for mobile signal
Seems quite good. Almost as fast as Ethernet. Seem reliable. Easy to use. Just remember to use the pair devices buttons. Mobile signal seems a bit weak, unless quite near transmitters

Easy to setup
I bought the Gigabit model and was very impressed that I was able to connect my laptop to my router first time without any setup or messing about. (I must say I didn't bother to create a secure network connection, so I can't comment on how easy that is to complete.)I like that they are simple and compact. I just wanted something that was quick to install and didn't require me reading loads of badly written tech garbage. (I spent 20 years in IT and still can't work out why IT kit suppliers can't write in clear and simple language. Most people don't begin to understand how networks work and, more importantly, don't care and shouldn't be required to obtain PHD in networking in order to watch streaming TV from their laptop. Ok, rant over.)If all you want is to use a network cable to connect a computer, smart TV, or other networked device, to your internet provider's router, which is located in another room, then this kit does it without fuss. Just connect both ends, using CAT5e cables, to the TP-link plugs and use your electric wall sockets to create a nework connection. Just make sure you use CAT5e cables, not standard CAT5, to obtain the full gigabit speed, and ensure both electric sockets are on the circuit (most private homes are fine, but offices might have several separate circuits.) Also, make sure you plug the TP-Link plugs directly into the wall sockets; do not use extension bars as they can weaken and/or corrupt the speed/connection. If you find the connections stops working, then reset both plugs and try again.

100% recommended
Worth every penny ! I pay for 250Mbps internet but have been using a cheap tplink up to 200mbps power line adapter and only. Getting 20 - 60 mbps , I bought this as a last attempt to get the max potential before I start drilling wholes and going wired , instantly got up to 175mbps!!!!!!! Highly recommend especially if you have a lot of electrical noise on your circuit or fairly far away from the router as these seem fairly good at overcoming that ( as a side note I would still only recommend this if there is no possible way to go wired ) for the price this is incredible and tripled my speeds , your results may vary but I am amazed at the difference this made !

Life saver and super convenient!
I ordered these boxes a while back for my desktop computer. At the time I was having several issues with dropouts and connectivity over WiFi, and since my desktop is upstairs and the WiFi router is downstairs in our rented house, the only option for Ethernet would be to run one up the whole house or bring the computer downstairs. That was until I found this product. You simply plug one box into the wall near your router, and connect an Ethernet from one to the other, then do the same near your desktop and that’s it! Wired connection without any hassle or long cables! The only thing that faults this for me is that both plugs require a wall socket each for them to work correctly, but given the amount of stress and issues it’s fixed for me I can live with one less available wall socket
