great stuff.
I am using this with my Oculus Rift as my GTX970 only has one HDMI port and i use that for connecting my PC to my home TV, and this adaptor works perfectly, so now more swapping between the two, great stuff.

Well-made product, which I'm sure would be effective if used correctly.
I probably should have done more research - I was thinking this might create a full hdmi connection, but nothing registers on my monitor.

Makes using my Oculus Rift much easier!
My GTX1080 Graphics Card only has 1 HDMI port, so swapping between PC gaming on my TV and gaming on my Oculus Rift was a load of hassle.The GTX1080 has a Display Port so I use this adapter to connect my Oculus Rift to my TV. It works perfectly. Highly recommended.

Works ok... a few problems on lg tvs....
This works ok, picture quality when working is not great,, but for some reason it will not drive my LG smart tv if I plug it in to HDMI 1 on the tv... all very strange...

DP head has a completely different design.
This product works well and I had no issues on connection side. However, it is really crucial to present products for online selling as they are.This image that used to represent this product is misleading as the DP head has a completely different design.I do not do reviews usually! But I do for situations like this and also for products with high quality and durable.

this one handles 4k fine, the cheep one didn't
Bought to replace a cheaper one I had bought, this one handles 4k fine, but only at 30hz.

Had a bit of a hit and miss experience with HDMI adapters. This one does work, but experience screen disconnects/reconnects if it is moved slightly. Also does not clip into the display port, which is a big point in using DP. Overall works, but could be better made and I'll be buying another brand next time.

4k 60hz limited colour range(No HDR).. or 4k 30hz full colour range/HDR Enabled
Ok so I've just plugged it in and it does display 4k 60hz. The only problem is that it does not do HDR 4k @ 60hz, but if you want HDR you will have to switch to 30hz refresh rate, which is a bit of a bummer. It seems like the adapter has about half of the bandwidth needed for 4k HDR full colour range. I hope this helps people make a more informed decision on whether to buy it or not :-)...
