Great book used as a present to a young man

Really like this book.The encouraging verses at the bottom of each page have been so helpful.When you're tired and just need to get those thoughts down, the verses really help you to finish the sentence!Great design as well, love the leather.The only drawback is that the encouraging verses are repeated and not unique. A pet peeve perhaps but still my honest opinion.Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to keep a log of their spiritual walk

I so enjoy these journals.The pages are nice, the lines visible on the page but not overly dark, the paper secure. Journals are excellent for keeping a journal or notes. Bible wuotes provide extra inspiration for daily living and/or a prayer journal.I also like that there is a date line on the top of each page.It is hard to rip pages out of these books...I do not recommend using this book if you expect to frequently need to remove paper from it.The string holding the book closed is an added bonus and helps me keep a pen and things in the journal without losing them! This is a fine alternative for people used to having a pocket in their journals/notebooks. (The string does, however, bend the edge of the leather cover because the cover is not totally stiff...see third image)
