Perfect tablas!
Much better than I ever expected! I purchased these as a present for a friend. I was slightly apprehensive at first as there wasn't many reviews and was worried about what condition they would be in by the time they travelled all the way from India, but I needn't have worried! The tablas I received slightly differ from the photo as they have little red cushions to sit on (forgive me for not using the correct terminology, as I'm not a tabla player) The tablas I received actually look ten times better than the ones in the photo and I was so pleased! They arrived promptly and quicker than expected as well which was an added bonus. Would really recommend this seller.

Maharaja Student Tabla Drum Set
The drums themselves are excellent but the book is quite difficult to understand - the English translation leaves a little to be desired & also much of the language is related to a musical tradition that possibly only an Asian person would understand. I watched a couple of video lessons on Youtube and decided it was far more difficult to play tabla than I first imagined & I could not find a teacher. With an expert playing it looks so easy! (Well, possibly anyway). It was watching someone play, many years ago that made me always want to try - but it isn't for me, sadly. I think the drums are excellent value with all the extras too eg. tuning hammer, pegs, rings to sit the drums in etc.

Birthday present for my father.
I recently purchased these lovely hand-made tabla as a birthday predent for my father, who has always had an interest in Indian music, and they were despatched and delivered promptly in perfect condition.. My dad is absolutely delighted with them, and I can't fault the service, both in terms of the quality of the product and the speed of service. Absolutely flawless, and I would recommend this seller to anyone.
