Great quality acrylic dosing container! Bought the larger version and hooked air pump to it to start culturing phytoplankton. Will buy again!

So when testing this with my new dose I found it was creating bubbles and the liquid was only barely pumping through. Then I found the tube that goes to the bottom of the chamber is seperate from the port that passes through and screws onto the top and they are only loosely press fit together meaning air gets in and effectively cannot pump properly. I had to seal them with a little superglue to work. Then the whole chambers smell distinctly and heavily of the chemicals, acrylic, & epoxy used to make the assembly. It needs to be washed and cleaned thoroughly to avoid any of these chemicals getting into your fish tank.

Well built budget friendly dosing container! If I had to be critical, I would say the biggest issues with it are the liquid volumn markers are hard to read and the included dosing line tubing stunk so bad that I tossed it. All in all darn good for the 💰

The pickup tube was improperly installed/sealed. Air was getting sucked in at the fitting joint that secures the pickup tube to the body. This caused air to get sucked into the dosing pump, impacting dose accuracy.I disassembled and discovered uneven adhesive/sealant/heat expansion where the tube inserts into the fitting. Applied glue and set. Works great now, but a bit of a pain.Advice - double check the tube seal before completing your installation.

It leaked around the bottom. I superglued jell to seal it. But would not purchase again

The tube that goes into the container keeps drawing air into my dosing lines. It’s draws air slowly so you won’t notice at first but eventually fills your dosing lines with air.
