Coral Flipper magnetic cleaner, standard, 12 mm

I've had my aquarium around 4 years now and as it is recessed into the wall its not the easiest thing to clean, but at the time I didn't want to spend more than £15 on a magnetic glass scrapper. The scraper i had worked but it took me around 15 minutes of intense scrubbing and disturbing of my tank to get a half decent result. After reading a few reviews about the flipper i decided to take the plunge and spend what is quite a lot of money on a new glass cleaner. It arrived yesterday and i was not disappointed! It cleaned even the harsh bits of algae in one pass meaning it took me less than a minute to clean the glass and i cant remember ever seeing it so clean. For me, it really is worth spending that extra few quid on this, i wish i had purchased on a few years back. Highly recommend!

I have a Juwel Lido 200 litre tank. I have used this cleaner on it which is very good. I went for this one to ensure magnets hold between my glass. Does a great job. I would not go for nano on this size tank this one holds great on my Lido. I do suffer with lots of alegae on glass so have been using the blade then go over with other side. Its very good at getting rid of it. I found it easy to use. All I say is take your time dont rush and you will see your tank transform back to a clean state looking like brand new. Just watch gravel and sand I remove off glass then put back togther which shakes off any debris. Also watch your sealant could cut it. I brought a corner cleaner for those areas. Happy flipping

Pricey for a magnetic cleaner, but works very well, so worth the cost in the end. Had no reason to "flip" it yet, so no idea how easy that is. Takes a little getting used to when it does come detached that it sinks compared to my other clearers.

Wow! I'm new to keeping fish,had my first tank for about 10 months now, I've constantly been battling algae, bought several scrubbers, bought a cheap magnet scraper, really had to scrub hard to remove one type of brown algae from the glass, there would be water everywhere and I'm sure I upset the fish. As soon as I opened this I knew it was worth the money, the magnet is incredibly powerful. Needless to say it was a breeze to remove this brown algae, I haven't seen the tank this clear since I first got it. Yes the flipping will take some getting use to, but I can't see me buying another algae scraper again.

For some reason, this product is not promoted for freshwater tanks. But after a lot of research, I purchased a standard. It works just as well on freshwater as a reef tank. It is great where the substrate meets the edge of the water. It is the most difficult to get at. Flipper effortlessly removes the algae while keeping 3mm clearance so gravel and sand don't get trapped to cause any scratchesAs others have said needs practice at flipping. There is a short video on YouTube that shows how to do it correctly and I found this very helpful.

Very good quality product. I use this on my 150 gallon aquarium and it does a great job. Magnets are very strong holding without falling to the bottom of the aquarium. Flipping takes a bit of practice, it moves from the front to the side easily. I clean right down to the sand line and no sand gets caught up avoiding scratching the glass. I have used others over the years but although a little more expensive this is by far the best in my opinion.

Great tool for my marine aquarium! I’d let the algae build up on the glass through not cleaning regularly. Used an old glass cleaner, with no luck it was basically just tickling it. Ordered one of these, and wow! The blade side just scraped it off with ease! 4ft tank done in less the 2 minutes! £40 well spent! Plus the magnet is bloody strong! Takes some getting used to for flipping it in the tank. But overall highly recommended!

I'm a lazy fish husband, and I suffer a lot of algae as my tank is near a window. Hate scrubbing and was sceptical about this cleaner. What a shock it literally cuts the algae off the glass leaving it sparkling in just two of three sweeps. Awesome!! You need to be careful about not taking it too close to the edges as it will happily slice out your glass sealant !! Expensive but so worth it.

This is an absolute wonder in cleaning any size aquarium. But you need to choose carefully between nano, standard and max. Product is standard. Good for my 19mm glass. Even the hardest algae gets scrubbed off without any tiring and wet hands. My 150 gallon takes less than 2 mins to clean. It is costly, that's the only drawback. Even replacement blades are very pricey.

I have a 47-gallon aquarium. This algae remover is the best II have ever used. Wish I knew about this product earlier since I bought a few of them over the years. None of them work as well as this product. A bit pricey, but well worth the cost since it does a great job! My whole aquarium is so much brighter and the item is simple to use. The ability to flip is cool to get at the out of the way places. Worth the extra $$ I feel.
