Seems a perfectly good bulb, if a bit pricey. But do not buy it to go with Lloytron desk lamp as it does not fit.

Bright Light For A 40 Watt Bulb
Recommended for Premier Housewares" Bulbus " lamp. Bulb is Eveready !!!! Delighted to see old trusted name on bulb box .Had bad luck with other- make bulbs . Bulb not pushed through letter box. Handed by postman Seems to give brighter light than old 60 watt bulb (not Eveready) in old lamp which is broken.. Am now happy with new small lamp and Eveready 40 Watt clear bulb .Thank you. .

Make sure Amazon are recommending the right bulb
I bought this bulb because Amazon recommended it to fit one of their desk lamps. It doesn't. This is a small ES (SES) not a standard (ES) one so I've now got the expense and hassle of returning it. Thank you Amazon Prime!
