Great backpack
Really pleased with this product. Very comfortable to wear when running. The water bladder works really well. The only issue I had was that the instructions for using it were rather vague, but once I had realised that there was an on/off valve and that you have to bite in a certain place on the mouth piece in order to obtain the fluid, it was excellent. Would definitely recommend this product, it is sturdy, well made and there is a surprising amount of room inside to carry everything you need when out for a days running on the hills and fells.

Bought for dog walks, excellent bit of kit
This is one of the few 3L bladder bags.Firstly the lost star ... The waist strap has a maximum of 37"/94cm. So useless for me over winter layers, actually useless for me in any conditions. I have had to doctor it by fitting a strap of my own, not pretty but effective. The chest strap is plenty big enough and fully adjustable to a maximum of 18"/46cm between shoulder straps. The shoulder straps aren't padded but are nearly 3"/7cm wide and shaped, with adjustable length for ease of putting on and tightening to fit. Very comfortable. The back of the pack is quilted for comfort.Inside the main compartment there is a flat pocket to the back, two somewhat fiddly clips to hang the filled bladder from, and plenty of room to hold bits and bobs in addition to the bladder. The bladder itself is 19"/48cm by 7"/18cm empty, with a 39"/99cm fabric sleeved drinking pipe coming from a strong rigid junction at the bladders base. The drinking end has a tethered dust cap and you drink using a bite valve to prevent accidental loss. The top of the main compartment closes with a zip and two clips so the drinking tube can exit wherever you wish without leaving the bag open. On its front is a netting pocket with an adjustable buckle clip top centre. In addition there is an 11"/28cm x 8"/20cm x 2/5cm pocket on the front with a half height zipped pocket on that.Extras include a criss-crossed bungee lacing over the front pocket, attaching points on each shoulder strap, compression straps to either side (useful to feed the tube through when walking to keep it easily accessible), and a grab handle on the bags top.If the waist strap had been much more generous I would have hesitated but given it 5 stars. It has been rigorously tested in the autumn/ winter though relly will come into its own come the drier months

Great item, nice and comfy
Large capacity in the bag for general item when out and about. Nice large 3 litre water pack with a nice quality mouthpiece. Have done short and long walks upto 20 miles and no problems with this bag yet.

Waist strap is 38inch max. Not 50 inch as advertised
ProsCheap cost.Water resistance is good (it wont keep electronics dry, but its ok for a small amount of rain).Good quality zips and compartments.3L bladder is solid and feels secure when walking.ConsBad tasting water, even after 3 wash throughs with soda and soap. (will be replacing the bladder for a better quality one)Waist strap extends to 38 inches maximum, not the 50 inches as advertised.Top handle needs tying back as constantly knocking against back of neck.Shoulder straps are not comfy. (I haven't been on any long walks yet, so maybe I will settle in to it)Happy overall with the purchase, but need to buy a better hydration bladder.

Very good value
Really useful on the hill, enough room for a pack lunch and a few other bits. If water is filled, not too much room in main compartment but the straps can be loosened to extend. Probably wouldn't fit a coat or full fleece but would easily take a mac-in-a-sac type anorak and trousers. the waist clips couldn't extend around my slightly portly stature - I would say up to a 36 waist but a little too tight beyond that. The chest clip was enough to hold straps in place. Total of 3 zip compartments and a gap you can wedge things in between main and smaller.

Hydration sack
The main panel zip broke after short use. Debris got onto the zip itself causing the zip to malfunction. Not worth the asking price for the item. The replacement was lost in “transit”, and not received. The only good thing was that I received the refund quickly for the lost replacement. Most unsatisfactory state of affairs!!!
