I think it must smell different too because the turtles have been swimming around sniffing it before they’ll eat. King British Turtle food is very much loved by my turtles and contains all necessary minerals and vitamins etc. It has dried prawns and krill which I would think are high in calcium. Your 3 in shell will have no trouble mind are around 4inch now and they swallow it while as soon as it’s in the water , your smaller turtle will be ok , and will most likely break the larger pieces up in its jaws ..I highly recommend this stuff it’s great value and turtles love it , just don’t be tempted to put too much in"}}]}]}
