Sony ICD-PX370 Mono Digital Voice Recorder with Built-In USB, 4 GB Memory, SD Memory Slot, 55 Hours Recording

I don't normally write a review immediately I've received a product but the PX370 recorder is excellent for the price. The controls are intuitive, the sound quality is excellent - I was concerned after reading a couple of lowish reviews - and the software it came with is again simple, effective and just what I wanted. There are a few settings. I've used auto voice and interviews and the quality is fine for both. I won't use it for lectures so can't comment on that aspect. A trial 'meeting' setting, sitting around a table with my wife, gave a little background hum but the voices were easy enough to understand. I've got some audio editing software and it was easy to edit out the hum. I'm really chuffed. It feels a little 'plasticky' but that's hardly a criticism for the price. I've used analogue dictaphones in the past and the performance of this little device beats them hands down. I write books and am just about to interview a number of people and that's why I went for this. Wish I'd gone digital a couple of years ago. I'm chuffed with my purchase. Delivery to a box came on time.

Cant really say much other than superb. Small, accepts memory card, good mic, easy to use.I particularly like the "HOLD" button to disable buttons for when being used in a pocket. Is easily capable of picking up voices from the other side of the room. Built in USB, in fact the ONLY downside is the lack of an illuminated lcd.

It records well. I find the playback system confusing as very different to my other, more expensive ones. It was a good price & quick delivery.

Good quality easy to follow instructions. Only use for taking notes, but really handy.

This a great digital recorder and I use this for recording ATC audio on my ThePhobicFlyer YouTube channel. The sound is great and the digital recorder is very easy to use. I can highly recommend the Sony ICD-PX370 especially from Amazon as the price is fantastic as well!!

I needed a device to record everything that is said in a control room for six to eight hours on the trot.Without adding more memory, this device will run for about 50 hours on one set of batteries and record about 50 hours of audio.It's neat that you can press a button to "tag" a location on the recording, so if there's an incident that we will likely want to listen to later, it takes half a second to prod the "tag" button even whilst responding to the incident.It's neat that it has a built-in USB plug so you can't lose the special cable, just slide out the connector and push into the side of your laptop. The supplied audio edit software is ON it so can be installed on any computer FROM the recorder.My only slight gripe is the provided software, whilst good at jumping to the tag positions, is very poor for trying to isolate and save just a selected portion of the recording. Fortunately there are plenty of WAV editing tools on the hairnet.Also this takes regular AAA batteries, it isn't rechargeable. But one pair of batteries last ages, and AAAs are small enough I can carry a pack of ten around with it, low stress.

This is my fist voice recorder so I cannot say I am an expert. The product is OK, but even being so unexperienced, I suspect there are much better products out there albeit more expensive. Among all the other products being is use these days, starting with a humble mobile phone, this device feels a bit prehistoric, although it does what iit is supposed to do, that is - it records your conversations and the microphone is decent, picks up the conversation quite well, even in a moderately noisy environment. USB is key, allows to transfer the mp3 file onto your PC/laptop easily.

this voice recorder is just amazing!You may jot know but...FAST FORWARD AND REWINDEven though it's not stated, you actually can rewind and fast forward, all you do is hold down left or right. Keep that in mind!!SOUND QUALITYThe sound quality is superb, it even works well even if you have it recording in the pocket!USER FRIENDLYit's very easy to use despite some comments saying otherwise. If you know how to work a mobile phone then there is no excuse to say that you can't use this recorder because its much easier.DISPLAYone drawback. It doesnt have a light on the screen which is disappointing! For that one drawback, I will give 4 stars but apart from that. Buy this recorder and forget about all the others youve heard about!Hope this helps.Sound

The media could not be loaded. Ich habe mit allem gerechnet, aber nicht mit einer so guten Audioqualität! 5/5! Für den Preis einfach fantastisch! Einziger Nachteil ist, dass kein Popschutz dabei ist (hört man im Video zweimal).

Perfect handig en klein genoeg om overal mee naartoe te kunnen nemen.Geluid is goed tot zeer goed. Beter dan verwacht.Batterijen gaan lang mee.
