Might want to just get a fan over it to cool it some more but it did really well in a shoebox Elite 130 case with cables all over with a 8 core 1700x cpu on a mini itx just if you build make sure your ram is lpx or Lower in height or use 2 slots to the right in ATX/MATX board as I could not fit any taller ram **Q: How does this compare to original NH-L12 performance?** A: pretty much identical. **Q: Can you attach a fan to the top of the cooler like the NH-L12 did?** A: Yes you can move the fan to the top. **Q: will this work with a intel socket 1151 LGA** A: Yes. I fitted one of these to an Asus Z390A motherboard last year. That board has LGA 1151.
