The Little Guide to Getting Tied Up: Tips for Rope Bondage Bottoms
H**N
Every rope bunny should read this
This book is excellent. If I could afford a copy for every rope bottom I know, I'd be handing copies out like Halloween treats! It contains useful information to consider before shibari, ways to improve your experience and skill levels, and important tips on evaluating risks, among other things. There are plenty of books on how to tie patterns, this is for the person being tied so they can be a partner in the process (and have a lot more fun, much more safely!)

Good read actually
Actually a really good, simple read. Most topics apply to suspensions and not much just floor work and beginners.

My Recommendation For A Basic Book
I enjoyed this book. It is really more than just basic stuff. Covers in very good detail how a sub should choose and interact someone to play with. Talks some about negotiation but there is no written contract offered which you can find elsewhere. Talks about risks like nerve damage and bigger risks like assault. Good sections on mental aspects, how one can expect to feel, how one should trust their emotions. I found the real life examples helpful and right to the point she was trying to make. There's no real technical stuff like how to select rope and nothing on how to do ties but I did not expect all that in a book aimed more at why you should try this than the nitty-gritty details. If one were going to buy one basic book I would say buy this one.
