Best lead we’ve had , we have 7 rescue dogs and our latest a Bassett hound used as a breeder can’t be let off the lead for a while as her fear of other people is very strong.So we needed a lead which gives her a bit of freedom and that is strong enough to hold her when she runs and plays with the other dogs( yes I have to run to).For the price it is excellent and I will certainly get more soon.Hope this helps

Lovely collars, medium were fine, larger collars without eyelets! These will not last so long, break down round the holes quicker. Third time I have been sent collars without eyelets, must be old stock as eyelet were reintroduced about 3 years ago. Recommend the collars, made to last and look good as colour doesn't fade, even when washed! I buy them for my goats, have 16 goats including harness goats, look smart at shows!

Good quality product with comfortable grip that is still in good shape after a few months winter walking. The only reason for dropping a star is if you have dogs with behaviour problems because you can't get far enough away from other dogs on a pavement. Otherwise it's great for letting them on grass verges while you keep your feet dry. Got the blue one as well.

Too long for me just now with my badly-trained dog, but a great length for those who walk in areas like a park and want the dog on the lead but still with a bit of freedom to sniff around. A really well made lead, very sturdy but still soft and flexible to hold. The handle is brilliant. I'd recommend, and would have bought another in a shorter length if I could have found one. Instead I bought a very similar, yet shorter Trixie lead that does the job excellently.

Ancol products are usually very good quality and this is no exception. It has a great attachment hook as well which was important as my last lead started to let my dog slip it if he moved a certain way. This doesn't happen with this one. The padded handle is very comfortable and the extra length has proved suprisingly useful and can always be shortened by wrapping around the wrist if in an unusual environment. Would highly recommend for both large and small breeds.

I bought this for my German Shepherd over a year ago and it is fantastic. Extremely durable but very comfortable at the same time due to the padding around the loop. The loop is perfect to hang a poop bag dispenser from too. The length of it is excellent as well, I would highly recommend this over any flexi-lead as they are broken easily.This lead is so good I bought a second one in red just because. If you are about to get a big-dog puppy, this is the best lead you can get.

Thick, solid, exceptionally well constructed with great stitching and quality hardware. Purchased via Amazon Prime after loosing pooch's previous lead on a walk. That's since recovered-- and I am glad about that-- since I find this lead way to long for the way pooch and I walk. Not sure I will ever use the padded hand loop, but it is soft and tough, being lined with neoprene.

Just what was needed to replace the old one our German Shepard had worn out by picking up the handle in her teeth and throwing it !The wrist loop is comfortably padded and overall feels well made and strong enough to hold our dog even in her excited moments.
