Q: hi does it work on old keloid scars developed 10 years ago?

Yes, it can certainly help, although it does take time to have a noticeable effect. My keloid scar is well over 10 years old. It was about 3 inches long and actively worsening. I have been using the Cia-Care gel for about two years, and more than three quarters of the scar has flattened and faded. There remains only a short section about half an inch at one end that is still red and a bit raised. The challenge (depending where the scar is located) is to keep the gel sheet firmly in place for about 12 - 16 hours every day. I also use a very good moisuriser on the scar at night - Le Mer works will, but is pricy, otherwise I find the Body Shop Vit E cream works.

Q: If you cut a small piece of it to use under the lip, would it come off while sleeping ?

The gel sheet can be cut into the correct size for the scar. It has to be secured in place by micropore tape or similar, it doesn’t stay in place on its own. We successfully used it for a considerable scar under my daughter’s chin

Q: My scars are on my neck so would not want to wear this in plain sight for 24 hours, is it possible just to wear for bed?

The effect I saw was based in wearing it full time so I’m guessing 8-10 hours at night would weaken or slow the effect but it should work all the same. The key thing is maintaining the contact to the skin but in a way that doesn’t affect your breathing at night. Good luck

I do believe it works. Im not a doctor but i really doubt it. My didn't And My skin is olive I loved this sheet my scar fainted so well and I got a surgery and about 10 stitches so I was so scared it will become thick and it didn't!
