Diatomaceous Earth by DiatomPure 4kg – Fresh Water, Food Grade Powder For Human Ingestion – Natural Protector & Mineral Supplement - Source Of Silica

I bought this to deal with a flea infestation which professional spraying hadn’t succeeded in eradicating. I used it (too thickly! Supposed to give a light dusting, like icing sugar sparingly sprinkled on a cake. I was more : salt and grit on a snowy path. It was effective on the fleas. However, before I cleared it all up a week later, my builder warned me that, although it only has 2% silica in it, and it is the less harmful version of silica, I should only vacuum it up with an “H Class” vacuum cleaner (as used when extracting asbestos during the removal process) so that I didn’t simply have silica puffing out the back of the vacuum cleaner. He also warned against using my Miele vacuum, which has a HEPA filter, because the incredibly fine dust can damage the motor. And told me to use a good quality particulates face mask while vacuuming. Sadly, silicosis is the new asbestosis and after researching on US Government websites, my builder’s caution was vindicated. Expensive hiring of an H class vacuum cleaner, masked up and generally more trouble than it was worth. It’s a low risk, but not one I’m prepared to run.

Ordered my DE in the afternoon and it was delivered the next day. I always buy Diatomepure, easy to mix in water; no lumps and exellent customer service. Have been using it for about two months, a heaping tablespoon morning and evening. Find my nails are growing long for the first time in my life, they were always brittle and soft, now they are strong and nice looking. My hair is shiny and full, people comment on how much better my hair looks, skin also softer. More regular and less pain, had a hip that was acting out, but after nine weeks, pain nearly gone. Will use this for the rest of my life!

I always do extensive research before buying a product like this and DiatomPure came out as the best quality DE for me. It is also very affordable compared to some suppliers, particularly when bought in larger sizes. I have been buying this brand for some time and am very happy with the quality and service.

I’m really disappointed in this product, I brought it as it appeared to be good value for money however I’ve been unable to tolerate the taste. Number one it is a totally different colour to all of the rest which is white this appears to be beige, then there is the taste that is foul, it is just vile so much so it has gone in the bin. I wouldn’t recommend this product
