It states that it is a suction cup mount, but it is a sticky mount. Also, if you have a 7+ or 8+ iPhone, it really doesn't fit this product. It says it fits up to 3.5 inches wide, but I had to force my 7+ phone into the opening. If you don't mind a silicone glue mount, and if you have a smaller phone, it might work ok. Buyer beware.

The suction cup adhered strongly to my slightly curved dash, and I only needed to wipe the dash down with a clean soft cloth to get some of the dust up. The clamp to hold the phone is VERY strong, it takes a little bit of 'umph' to open it and slide the phone into place, once it place, it is held very securely. The nut on the back is for tightening the swivel, and is a little hard to access once the phone is in place, but seems to hold its position nicely so far

Not once in the 20 times I tried to use it would it stay put. No matter how I cleaned the area first made no difference

The suction cup on this is thick and kinda gooey and will stick anywhere that's flat. the only concern i have after 1 month of use is will my plastic dash panel react to the suction cup material and leave a mark or....much worse...melt the plastic. I keep removing it to check but so far all is well. it sticks VERY SOLID. i think im going to buy another one for my Garmin GPS.

Works great for my Samsung Galaxy s10. Only minor issue is that it's slightly tough to tighten into position, That being said once it's tight it's tight.
