My fiance started biking daily just as the weather started getting cooler. It’s been a long time since she has done anything like this so she found she was ill-prepared for the colder weather. One night, she came home from her ride - which she takes after dark - and she immediately got a shower just to warm up. The air temperature was between 40-50º F but because she was riding at a quickened pace and it was windy, she found the ‘feels like’ temperature was much cooler. She is trying to make a habit out of her nightly rides and doesn’t want to break the habit even when it gets cold. So, we invested in this face mask for her to use while she rides. It fits her really well and even though it is warm, the material is breathable, too. We got the purple color face mask which is a light violet shade. It’s bright, but not overpowering. She wanted something lighter colored since she rides a lot at night but she didn’t want white because she thought it would be too difficult to keep clean. So this purple ended up being a great option. It’s a worthwhile investment and it seems to help cut down on the weather exposure affects quite a bit.

I ended up wearing this below my lips.Conclusions:This is a decent balaklava. It's thin enough to go under a helmet and block the wind.

Disappointed in how sheer it is legit that it wouldn’t even be protective

This balaclava will keep the wind out and will work nicely under a helmet or ski cap. I think it's too thin to keep the cold out on it's own. It does have versatility- it can cover the neck, head, forehead, and lower face including nose; just the neck, head, and forehead; just the neck, head and lower face; pulled down fully to use as a neck muffler or fully pulled off off the face to use as a head scarf. It's a good product for the price.

I wore this today, 29 degree weather under my full face helmet riding 20 miles at 60 MPH on a motorcycle. My neck nor my face got cold. It keep most of the wind off my skin, and made the ride comfortable.I will continue to use this all winter long sheathed in my hunting blind or on my motorcycle.

At around $7 this is a bargain. The material feels very soft and the balaclava is very well made. It fits great, snug but comfortable, and it would easily go under the helmet. I like the feeling of it against my skin as some of them get itchy when worn with motorcycle helmets. This one feels nice and soft, and being it quite thin if fits inside the helmet great! Love it!

It fit like a dream!You get what you expect and at an awesome price. It is more of an undergarment because its on the thinner side but that is preferred in this case. Super easy to put on and pull down without issue. It fits around the face very well, extremely breathable and lightweight. It defiantly exceeded my expectations for how cheap the price it. Fantastic quality you cant beat it in these colder months!

I am happy with this balaclava. It's thick enough to help keep the wind out but thin enough to wear under a ski helmet. It fits me perfect around the head but is a little snug around the lip/mouth. I'm not sure if it's snug in a good way or if it will become annoying after hours of wearing. We'll see. The material is good. Not the softest one I own, but definitely soft enough and seems to be made really well. The neck is plenty long to tuck in your coat. I would buy again.
