Wrendale Designsby Hannah Dale - Country Animal Green Biscuit Barrel - 160mm x 155mm

Ok, so I am a man and generally I buy kitchen items for function over form.The wife on the other hand has taste and an eye for what will go well in the kitchen - and pretty much anywhere else!When we moved to our current house she decided to start collecting a few Wrendale pieces.This was one of the first, along with a utensil jug and a set of tea/sugar coffee caddy's.I have to say I am impressed with this biscuit tin.The quality is excellent with a good thickness of metal used so it does not feel flimsy and the lovely design all the way round as well as the lid.The lid itself seals the tin very well but is still easy enough to remove.The tin is big enough to comfortably hold 2 standard packets of biscuits so it should hold enough to ensure you are not re-filling every day (unless you have a serious biscuit addict in the house).Longevity appears to be good too as we have had this for over 3 years now and it is still looking pretty much new, which considering I have a lad who is partial to a biscuit once in a while and is not the most gentle with packaging!Overall, highly recommended on quality, capacity, design and longevity. If you like Wrendale, just buy it!

Lovely biscuit tin, exactly as described

This is a very attractive biscuit barrel; very sturdy in it's manufacture and great to look at. You can easily remove the lid with out using the the small knob. It is there mainly for decoration. It has to fit snugly to be airtight. As for the dent issues....this is a problem with the packaging, not the fault of the manufacturer or even Amazon. Mine was well packed and arrived in perfect condition. I would not hesitate to give this 5 stars.

Brought this biscuit tin as it stated that it had air moisturiser in lid to keep biscuits fresh, but unless it is inside and covered this is not so.But have had biscuits in for one week so far and it seems okay.

Purchased this for myself, old tin was getting very battered so took the plunge and purchased a new one. it is lovely and sturdy and my grandchildren love all the animals inside as well as out. Very pleased.

The tin is beautifully designed both on the outside and in. Bought as a present so cannot comment on how well biscuits will keep but a good seal on the lid.

I purchased this biscuit tin for myself and have received many compliments about the quality and cute design! Would also make a perfect gift!

Good barrel, keeps biscuits fresh.

I love the inside with the hare design. The seal is real good so it should keep everything fresh. I haven't used it yet because I'm waiting until our new kitchen is done. But it looks great and it's a perfect size. Not too big and not too small. Easy to open, and I have small hands. (Example, I can't open the Tide Pod containers, the lids are too large).

Die Keksdose ist sehr schön und auch stabil. Der Deckel sitzt sehr fest und verschließt gut. Ich habe noch zwei weitere rechteckige Dosen von Wrendale, wo die Deckel leichter aufgehen. Alle Dose die ich bisher von Wrendale habe sind qualitativ sehr gut und die Kekse bleiben knusprig. Diese runde Dose nehme ich persönlich zum Bevorraten und fülle daraus um.
