Great gluten free flour
This flour can really be substituted for wheat flour in a regular cook book. Great product.

Staple for GF baking
Staple at our house. GF. Happy with what it does as a 1:1. Baking takes patience and thankful for this option. No odd taste. Consistency is as expected.

My New Favorite Gluten Free Flour
At first, I was afraid to try Cup4Cup gluten-free flour because I have celiac disease. But I'm so happy I decided to give it a chance! This flour has really improved my baking. I buy it all the time now, especially for making naan. It comes out soft and tasty every time. The texture and flavor are amazing, and it's hard to believe it's gluten-free. If you need a good gluten-free flour, I highly recommend Cup4Cup!

The Best GF Flour But Pricey
Cup4cup is the closest gluten free substitute I’ve found to regular all purpose flour. I’ve used it in beer bread, cookies, sauces, breaded meat and it works very well in all circumstances. It’s not perfect in beer bread, but miles ahead of the few other GF flours I’ve tried. Admittedly there are way more brands of GF all purpose flour out there than I’ve tried. I’ve only used three, but Cup4cup is the very clear winner. Lots of people seem to have a definite favorite and there’s no consensus I can discern. I might revise this if I stumble upon a something better. I also haven’t tried any of the GF pastry flours, that may solve my problem with the bread. Three things I’m not thrilled with: 1) Cup4cup contains dairy. I try to be dairy free since I’m intolerant, and it was not clear until I read the ingredient list carefully that milk powder was an ingredient. A lot of people intolerant to gluten are also intolerant to casein in dairy. So I’d make that fact of containing milk a little more obvious on the packaging especially since it’s not an “expected” ingredient. (The dairy didn’t end up being very noticeable to me after using it, but it may be for others.) 2) Cup4cup is super expensive, even by the standards of other gluten free all purpose flours, which is priced far higher than wheat all purpose flour. So it’s some pricey stuff and I’ve never really understood why since the ingredient list isn’t terribly exotic. There is no real cost benefit even in the expensive domain of gluten free foods of making your own baked goods if you’re using Cup4cup, you’re clearly baking for enjoyment only. That’s ok for the hobbyist chef, but paying more in the end than the prepared foods is a little bizarre. 3) Cup4cup has been difficult to consistently source during the pandemic quarantine. Granted, there was a huge run on flour of all types, but my local store just pulled Cup4cup entirely after selling out. Out of four Amazon orders, two were in stock and shipped next day, one was only available through AmazonFresh and the last one was through regular Prime but took two weeks to ship. Things appear back to normal availability online, but my local grocery store hasn’t brought it back. Bottom line is that I’m using Cup4cup until I land on something better, if that ever happens. I’ll still search other stuff out because of the high price and availability. But the quality is pretty darn good.

Good flour
Works well with my bread machine. It’s the only brand that gives me a decent loaf of bread. Taste is good

Hands Down, The Best Gluten Free Flour Mix - Makes Baking and Cooking "Normal" Again!
Since going gluten free over 3.5 years ago, I have struggled with finding a flour mix to bake with that didn't leave an after taste in the baked goods or had poor consistency. I read an article online that mentioned Cup4Cup and decided to try it, even though it is quite pricey. I was not disappointed. This flour mixture virtually ensures you can bake or cook gluten free and have it taste like the "real" thing. Before going gluten free, I was known as the Queen of Gravies and I remember the first time I made gravy with a gluten free flour mix and I cried as the gravy was a horrible gelatinous mass that was simply not edible. Cup4cup changed that as well - I now have re-emerged as the Queen of Gravies and Sauces and no one can tell the difference. Sauces and gravies come out smooth and have no flunky taste and they hold over well as leftovers too. With this flour mix, you can follow any recipe you see in a book or online and you do not need to add extra ingredients such as xanthan gum. You can cook, bake and follow recipes the same as anyone else and not feel like you are being left out of things being gluten free. I know the price is expensive and it has not come down in the 2.5 years since I started using it, but it really is worth it for the quality and versatility. The only downside is that the company does not recommend using it for yeast bread baking. I would agree. I have tried it with yeast bread recipes in my never ending pursuit to find a decent bread like the breads I used to enjoy, and although it doesn't ruin a recipe, it will not make your yeast breads turn out any better as if you were using wheat flour.

The very best GF flour
I only use cup4cup flour. I’ve baked lots of tasty desserts using it & not one person could tell the dessert was made with a gluten free flour! It’s the best GF flour!

The price. It is soo expensive. Costs 14.99 per bag and so a loaf of bread costs £5 for the flour. However the results are worth it as we can eat gf scones, bread loaves( make toast!) bread buns, Naans, Focaccia, biscuits, pizza base that are as good as the non gf ones I make. Life saver. Everyone can eat the “same” meals with enjoyment.
