Bebe Style Car Seat, Convertible, Group 1 2 3, 9-36 kg, 9 Months to 12 Years, Combination Booster & Child Seat, with ECE R44/04 Certification, Red

We purchased this item for our niece to fit in her car to carry our great nephew around. Like many young people, she desires the best for her child, however, on occasion, despite seeking the best that money can buy, it isn't always possible - in this case, it wasn't the seat, it is the car! For many people, purchasing a modern car with ISOFIX/ISOFIT fixings is outwith what they can afford and therefore, their requirements, or more importantly, what they can use is a little more restricted and in that regard, we chose this seat, with her agreement, for our nephew's first birthday as it can be fitted into a car using seat belts.We would have been happy to pay for a more expensive seat, however, our niece chose this item based upon a number of factors:+ Price and safety - she wants a safe seat and this seat complies with European safety standards ECE R44/04, but it is priced in the range which she feels is appropriate to her and her son's needs. This includes side protection, five point harness, multi position headrest (for when the child grows, or to cater for individual shape) etc.+ Longevity - this seat is designed to be used as a conventional seat, or can be adapted to be used as a booster seat as the child gets older, or to allow flexibility within the family.+ Economy - yes it is a cheaper seat and whilst I have just alluded to the fact that it can be used by children from 9 months up to 12 years, from a hygiene perspective and just general wear and tear, she felt that she is likely to replace it before her son reaches 12 - she therefore wants something safe, reasonably durable but an item which won't break the bank to replace.+ Child comfort - well the seat has a number of safety features, which are addressed through engineering primarily, however, there is quite a lot of foam in place to ensure that should a child be impacted or impact into the fabric that they will be heavily cushioned. In that regard, there is a significant amount of cushioning. Additionally, the majority of journeys our nephew is making are really quite short and less than 20 minutes, with only the occasional journey be longer. Despite his inability to speak yet, he seems very happy in this seat.There are a number of other elements which describe how good this seat is in the manufacturer's description and on that basis I will not describe them. The main thing for our niece is she feels confident that it keeps her son safe, it is relatively light, but reassuringly heavy enough, yet still remaining easy to fit and if necessary, move to another vehicle and from our great nephew's perspective, it allows him to see out of the window.Great item for the price and affordable for most.

Bought this car set for our 5 day trip to Italy (hiring a car seat was going to be 37 euros a day!) and it served it's purpose for my 20 month old who is about 11 kg. I would recommend as a second car seat or a travel car seat. It was easy for him to climb into the seat and he was able to sleep it in (though his head did move forward on occasion which was fine as I was sitting next to him too adjust if need be). It was light to carry (now i need to find a cheap travel bag as we used the plastic bag that it came packaged in for the trip which obviously only lasted the return trip before we threw it away - it was delivered in a cardboard box and the seat was inside in a plastic bag). We drove everyday in a VW station wagon, our driving trips were up to 3 hours long and he seemed comfortable. With all the padding he just fit, so will probably remove the bottom part of the padding once he gets bigger. It was easy to install and felt sturdy once the seat belt was put in properly. You need to pull the seat belt taunt and make sure it's flat when it goes through the back and out on the side again. You can tell if the seat isn't put in properly if you give it a little pus/shake to see if it moves and if it moves too much then there's too much slack on the seat belt and needs to be redone. We have the everystages joie car seat in our car installed with a seat belt, which seems more robust but is heavier and bigger than this seat. I'm happy with my purchase.

This is a good seat, the padding makes it very comfy and my daughter really likes it. The harness appears very secure and is easy to adjust. The one down side is that it is difficult to attach the back to the seat part and it keeps falling apart when I move it between cars. Good for the price if it is staying in one car not. If you need to move it round, or if it needs to come out at nursery, or out of a grandparents car for storage it becomes much more difficult, time consuming and frankly annoying!

If this carseat has one thing going for it, it's comfort! My 3 year old son beemed when he saw his new big boy seat! And he seems to be very comfortable in it.It's padded very well, at first too well. The middle padding was too bulky for his little back so, I took out and turned it upside down so it raised a little so it was more up his back, this made it much better. (I hope that makes sense).Excellent value for money in my opinion. You can't put a price on your child's safety, but as long as your child is in a certified seat, they're safe. My last one was a more expensive brand and it came apart. Hence the replacement.

Let’s review a car seat for a baby that I cannot fit into,.. comfy scale? Well my little girl does not complain so it must mean something to be a female and not complain and a child in a seat so big things up (jokes people jokes, so not need to cry)Value for money? It’s a car seat, they are kept safe and it looks and does the job. Not had a crash yet to test and see if it holds up but if we do and she’s not protected then we will edit the review but until then, all good.The sea is fairly large and plasticie but I guess it’s okay and lightweight which is good. Bends and folds in some good stuff and locks into place nicely but overall a good car seat. Just do not try and bend the car seat with them sitting in it, they do not like it.Also does not come with a car to test with seat belts so you will need one of these... it’s like toys with batteries in them.

Very well made looks and feels comfy. Smart appearance and fits well and sturdy. Very pleased love the colour to.

Ce siège auto correspond à mes attentes, il est pas trop large ce qui est un avantage pour ma voiture car il ne prend pas trop de place, mon fils de deux ans et demi y est bien assis, il est bien rembourré donc confortable, il est jolie et il est prévu jusqu'au groupe 3 devrait donc me durer dans le temps à voir, là ça fait 3 semaines que je l'ai, j'ai été livré rapidement,le montage est simple et rapide.
