Excellent Pedal
I love this pedal. It's incredibly versatile and a great addition to any pedal board. I've used other line selectors with limited success. This pedal is quiet and easy to use. Made with the traditional Boss quality. Highly recommend

BOSS LS-2
Is great if you have need for it, I use mine to bypass all my gain stages before the signal it hits the front of the amp. It means I can go from totally saturated to squeeky clean in 2 pedal clicks rather than 6. (bypasses.. Gain boost, compressor, ocd overdrive, tube screamer, noise gate) The 2nd click being to switch the amp channel.As with all Boss pedals, its as solid as a rock.

Essential for bassists using effects
It's taken me over 12 years of playing bass to realise this was what I needed to stop my bass overdrive from losing the low end!Quite simply, this is now my number one pedal. I use it for one reason; and that is to mix two different effects loops at the same time. This means I can have distorted/overdriven bass and keep a clean bass sound, full of the low end that overdrive takes out. No more switching in the effects and getting drowned out by guitarists!I have even gone so far as to put an octave pedal in my second (clean) loop, so I can do bass solos which have distortion on the high notes I'm playing, and the clean sub-octave makes it sound like there's another bassist backing me up.It's useful for lots more situations than this, but to be honest, this is the only reason I bought it - and it's worth it!

A very useful tool for bassists using effects. Much more effective than clean blend on a pedal. Enables use of guitar pedals which usually kill the bass signal.- Cheap and effective.- Doesn't affect tone to any significant degree (practically imperceptible).- No significant drawbacks.

Not a glamorous pedal, but can be an essential one
It is ten years since I bought a Boss pedal, have been splashing out on the more sexy boutique stuff, but went back to Boss for this, as it’s the best tool for the job
