Well written. Although title a little misleading with the word "master". "Getting to grips with Kali Linux" would be far more accurate title.

This book IS NOT a pentesting book its a book that teaches you the internal working of Kali Linux and gives you a much more better understanding of Kali Linux and how it works,to all you script kiddies complaining about this book why not first understand how something works before trying to become a "hacker" all in all well worth the price as it gives you a much more in dept understanding.

I bought this as a complement to the electronic text (which can be downloaded free from the Kali web site)It is NOT about Pen testing as such. It is about the inner workings of the Kali Distro and, as such, is very useful.

Great book, follows the digital version on the kali.org site, except for the exercises and quizzes which are not included in the book.The print is great, great paper and cover, but that's just cosmetic.The content is overall good, but a bit inconsistent, going from the Linux fundamentals to much more complex setup from one chapter to another. I recommend on top of the book the online Kali docs for better understanding if not that familiar with Linux, otherwise this may not be a problem for others.

Bought the book to get to know Kali Linux more, and how to actually use various aspects of the many tools it possesses. But discovered it covers more the basic use of the distro, and how to use Linux in general. Still well written and usefull for people that come from a Windows background like myself and want to delve into Linux more and get the basic understanding of it before moving on to more advanced topics.
