Beikel Replacement Band for Apple Watch 42mm Series 1 2 3 with Stainless Steel Magnetic Closure Loop Bracelet Strap, Black

I tried the Apple version of this Watch band on in the Apple store and as astonished to find that this band costs a staggering £199. You get an upgrade to the glass used on the Apple Watch but the band felt and looked exactly like this sub £10 version.I think the band looks much better than the cheap looking silicone band that comes with the Apple Watch.It feels comfortable and is fairly easy to put on once the magnet is pulled away from the band.In short the good points are: cheap, good looks, feels comfortable and is a twin to the Apple version.Negative points are that the magnetic catch slides and the band can loosen. The magnetic clasp will also attach itself to other metal objects and inadvertently open the band It’s attached itself to door handles, fridge doors, metal pans etc. Both of these issues, I assume also affect the Apple version. After approximately a month of use, one of the pins that make up the band has moved and now projects from the otherwise smooth edge. I can’t feel this when I’m wearing it but I can when I put on and remove the band. About six weeks after purchase the magnet from the clasp fell out. It needs gluing back in and I haven’t got around to that yet as the magnet clicks back in and only comes back out now and again. I would hav been angry if this had happened to the £199 Apple version but at this price it’s only mildly annoying.After two months of wear, the strap looks almost it as newly purchased. No scratches.Once this band has totally failed, I think I will shop around for a replacement rather than purchasing another of these.

The first thing to say about this is that it’s £10! Apple want £200 for basically the same thing. When I got my watch I went into Apple and tried theirs and thought they must be having a laugh wanting that amount of money. This band attaches to the watch with no issues. The magnetic clasp works ok, although vigorous activity will loosen it but then that’s what the sports band is for. It’s well made, I’ve had no issues with it catching on anything as other reviewers have. Lastly it’s £10!

Product worked fine for a while, approximately 3 weeks. Magnet was strong enough to hold the bracelet together even under wet weather conditions. Never had a problem of dropping the watch due to the bracelet's malfunction like I've heard from other customer reviews. Apart from all this the bracelet didn't last long as the paint started to rub off with constant use of the magnet, and little strips of metal from the made of the bracelet started to stick off and hurt my wrist, as well as damage my clothing sleeves. I understand that for the price I paid I couldn't expect the same as an original from Apple which would cost me 20x more, but the product needs improvement. I think I speak for all of us customers when I say that I wouldn't mind paying a little bit extra for a better quality product.

Having lived with this now for a month or two I've now taken it off my watch and don't use it. It does look great and for the first few days it worked as it should.It then caught on my jacket pulling one of the metal weaves out slightly making it really sharp. I pushed it back in but then it kept happening, now a few more of the weaves have popped out making it totally unwearable and a total waste of money.I've now gone back to the sports strap as that doesn't make me bleed!

Brilliant strap, feels nice on the wrist and very customizable to pretty much any wrist size. The magnet is nice and strong so it does not slip on the wrist, just had a run with it on and didnt move at all. If you don't fancy paying Apple £200 for a strap that is virtually identical to this, then this is a great purchase!EDIT: Have to add this in, just got home and discovered quite a nasty crease in the links of the strap, not sure how it happened, maybe these straps are not as strong as genuine apple ones...?Either way it kinda spoils the strap as the crease is very noticeable, and you can feel the dent against your wrist, not sure if this was a one off or something these straps may be prone to..

Magnet is very strong so doesn’t slip,the good thing about this strap is some I’ve bought off here (different type)is one hole is too tight next hole too slack with this strap you can put magnet on strap where you want so very comfy.it fits onto the watch spot on.I’ve ordered another one as a spare(feels like they will last quite a long time well made)they are very good and only a tenner plus they come in a nice presentation box which it good if you buying as a prezzy. 1pic is the magnet the other is strap where it meets watch

Fast delivery service , band its nicely made and has a nice final finish , feels soft on your wrist , very light , 42 mm it’s just the right size because it’s not too small and not to big - it looks classic , just perfect , worth it for the price !Thanks !

It gets caught on my clothing as the metal loops are sticking out slightly making it really sharp. I have tried pushing it back in but then it keeps recurring. The strap seems like it will split with time. The sharp metal fibres keep scratching my skin and plucking my clothes. I tried placing tape over the defective loop but with in a day, the sharp metals had pierced through. Returning after a week. want my money back!
