Buy Gtech AirRam MK2 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner at desertcart UK. Review: Ease of use full marks; Effective results full marks; Value for money excellent. - I've only had this cleaner for 5 hours and I'm over-the-moon with it's brilliant design and user-friendliness. It had enough charge in the battery straight out of the box to try it out once assembled and it seemed quieter than any we've had before. Plenty of suction, plus it's light weight and so easy to push around. Battery charged up in 3 hours. The cassette dust box is such a good idea and clean and easy to use. The cleaner came recommended by a friend who has owned one for a few months and they are delighted with it. They told me they'd recommended it to 6 people including me, and all of them had good reports about it. I can only think that those who post up negative reviews on it, with the grumbles being about flimsy weak components must be those who don't know how to treat electro-mechanical things with respect. My motto is "If a lever doesn't easily move from parked position to where you want it to be in use, then consult the manual as there is probably a release catch you haven't read about in the user guide - don't force it unless you want it to snap and breakdown permanently" In other words don't be brutal with it, as it's not an industrial heavy-duty item it's a domestic one. There are plenty of useful accessories and spares offered on sale and a customer service contact. The company is in Worcester and so I'm wondering if it's British made but probably it's one of those products designed in the UK but made under British supervision in the Far East. So summing up - it's superb value for money and makes the task of vacuuming a real doddle. I could even get to like vacuuming floors at this rate and not hope my wife will do it ! Oh and 'by the way' it's so light and easy to push around that I can use it while tootling around in a wheelchair - that information may help anyone who could use it who is confined to a wheelchair but can self-propel. Review: Cleaning without the hassle - So much easier to motivate to vacuum when you don't have to wrestle a big heavy vacuum cleaner with hoses and cables. This vacuum is light and easy to use. And boy dose is clean. ## Features - AirLoc Technology - Using our patented AirLOC Technology, the AirRAM effortlessly picks up large debris as you push forwards and locks on the backstroke to suck up embedded dust. The rotating brush bar makes light work of stubborn dirt. - Get Lower. Go Further - Weighing just 3.2kg, manoeuvring the AirRAM is virtually effortless. And with its low-profile handle, you can easily reach underneath sofas, beds, and coffee tables. - LED Headlights - LED headlights along the front of the AirRAM Platinum illuminate the way as you clean, exposing any dust you've missed. - Bagless - With a simple flip of a latch, the collected dirt and debris is released into your bin. - Lithium-ion Battery - Powered by a professional grade 22V Lithium-ion battery, up to 40 minutes of runtime with each 4-hour charge. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B06VY1KB42 | | Amperage | 5 Amps | | Battery Charge Time | 4 hours | | Battery Description | The Gtech AirRam MK2 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is powered by a 22-volt lithium-ion battery, providing up to 40 minutes of cleaning time on a single 4-hour charge. It is scary how much this picks up! And the carpets look like new. **Q: Does this have gaurantee?** A: Yes. I think it’s 2 years. I needed to replace a part and the after-sales service was superb. It was delivered the next day. **Q: Will the gtech do stairs or do you have to buy a separate hand held one?** A: I use mine on the stairs. I just lock it in the upright position and run it over the stair carpet, works fine for me. **Q: Is it good on hard with dog hair** A: From Peggy. I have a black cat which sheds his coat very often and yes, it picks up hairs but depending on the breed of your dog. It is good on hard floors. I am very pleased with the product. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ease of use full marks; Effective results full marks; Value for money excellent. *by J***R on 9 August 2018* I've only had this cleaner for 5 hours and I'm over-the-moon with it's brilliant design and user-friendliness. This vacuum is light and easy to use. And boy dose is clean. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lightweight & good suction *by B***E on 22 February 2026* Needed a replacement for my 12 yr old heavy Henry, who has been a real trooper, but cumbersome to get up the stairs of a tiny cottage. For someone who loathes vacuuming & only does it when I can see the dust this is a life saver, I really didn’t expect much but it really has great suction… filled the bin in one room. It was so easy I did upstairs straight away- I usually do upstairs a different day!! Might even enjoy it if this goes on!! Nothing on me ached, nothing got tangled or fell over, my pets (cocker spaniel & 2 cats) will have to get used to the new sound but it is MUCH quieter than my screechy Henry. When the main handle goes on it is a little wobbly as others have said but it has to be like that for the subtle manoeuvrability… overall not a patch on the sturdiness of Henry but with children growing up that is no longer needed. It tucks away in half the space of Henry with no long hose to accommodate. Charging is easy I stood the whole thing beside an extension lead & the display showed clearly when it was cooked. It has no crevice tool (such a funny phrase!) but I found its cleaning up to the edges acceptable- I’m no clean freak - if it builds up over time I’ll brush it out beforehand like my mum used to do. I found Henry’s hose rather awkward over time. I used to vacuum on my knees but I don’t now. So don’t miss attachments at this stage. It is on the pricey side considering lack of attachments but hoping its longevity will prove the cost. I like the simplicity- it.cleans.the.floor. - that was what I was looking for- not a ceiling cleaner or curtain cleaner - I am not looking for more chores!! & more plastic stuff to store, loose & never use! More tea please!! The stairs are a bit of an art but I managed - just swivelled it to cover the area and run over the stair - all done! So far just what I wanted. ## Frequently Bought Together - Gtech AirRAM MK2 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner with Powered Brush Head - Perfect for Carpet and Hardwood Floors - Rechargeable 22v Li-ion Battery - Lightweight (7 lbs.) - Smilefil 2 Pack Premium Vacuum Cleaner Filters Compatible with Bissell AirRam 2144, 1984, 19841, 19844, Compare to Part # 1611215 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.au/products/48191392-gtech-airram-mk2-cordless-vacuum-cleaner](https://www.desertcart.com.au/products/48191392-gtech-airram-mk2-cordless-vacuum-cleaner) --- *Product available on Desertcart Australia* *Store origin: AU* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
