Great torches and not made in China!
Great quality and never had a problem with Mags as long as I have owned them. This is about the only torch you can buy that's not made in China and needs supported for that reason!

Excellent torch
I have several Maglites; bought over many years. They are excellent torches and provide very good light for their size..This is no exception, robust, compact and easy keep handy in a pocket or bag.

Ideal handbag torch
Gives good bright light over at least 20 feet distance. Good quality, not heavy, and can adjust the width of beam. Good value for money.

Expensive
Nice box, but that’s not what I really wanted. Solid construction, but have since bought a more powerful LED one at a much cheaper price.

Excellent torch - As Always
Maglites are well renowned for being good and this is no exception. It works well when used with the standard clear filter and bulb and does what is required in that respect. However I find the stock bulb not quite powerful enough when used with a red filter, as required when on a tactical exercise. I have swapped bulbs to an LED one and this has solved the problem a little, but not a huge amount.This aside it's a world renowned and well loved brand, a good buy all round.

It's a MagLite with a bulb
It may not be a three million lumen LED blind your granny torch that can light up the side of a mountain... but this is great for what it is. It's a standard incandescent bulb driven AA torch which gives off a nice warm light (less clinical and cold than most LED torches) and focusable from a flood setting to a fairly tight beam. Beam specs will never be as good as LED focusable torches but this still has a lot going for its size. The head is turned to activate it and is a silky smooth feel quality feel, nothing like the unsure "gritty" feeling of Maglite-shaped imitation torches. There is even a spare bulb in the tailcap under the battery spring should the one installed blow.I bought this as I suspect incandescent torches won't be around forever, so it mostly stays in its case, but it looks and feels tough enough to be useful in the field. Runs well off two Duracell 1.2V NiMh batteries, also comes with two Alkaline 1.5V duracells.

Terrible light !
Reminds me of a torch I had in the 1970’s. It really is a waste of time as it’s really not very bright!
