Stiletto TB-MR Replacement Milled Hammer Face for Ti-Bone TBII-15 Hammer

Out of the 30 plus years I've been framing houses, this replacement head goes to the best hammer I've ever owned and was money well spent! I've owned this hammer for going on 7 years now and my right elbow thanks me everyday for switching! I owned a Vaughn titanium headed hammer before this stiletto and even though it's a great hammer too, you just can't top a full titanium hammer, handle and all. Before using either of these titanium hammers I was using a Fat Max and before that a 22oz Estwing....needless to say, my elbow and wrist were both suffering from tendonitis/arthritis and still occasionally have pain on those long 10 to 12 hr days! Since I've switched to this hammer, I rarely have any pain in my elbow or wrist. Also, with the awesome rubber grip, you can really sink the nails. It also has that trusty little wedge cut into the side of the hammer for pulling nails. This feature really does make it easier to pull nails, as in, it takes less effort or force to pull them out! Bottom line, this is a great hammer and even though it's rather expensive for a hammer and replacement head, it's well worth it! Definitely will be the last hammer I ever have to buy.... Unless someone steals it!!! lol I've seen guys facial expressions, when I tell them how much I paid FOR A HAMMER!!!....Those guys just don't realize it yet but they'd be money ahead to buy one now, as they purchase a new hammer every other year because they get tired of handles breaking or after the milled heads wear off...then eventually the tendonitis/arthritis that sets in 6 to 10 years down the road! I'll still have my same stiletto, driving nail after nail, with no pain!.....unless I HIT MY FINGER!!! lol

My Stiletto Hammer had a smooth face and I needed a milled head. This fit perfectly and worked great. The magnet works well.

I was sent the smooth hammerhead instead of the milled. Getting it resolved through Amazon was a hassle but I did get the correct item I ordered eventually.

I love this hammer, just have in mind that is meant for framing/carpentry. It works beautifully on wood and nails. I abused mine using it on aluminum and steel forms, jacks/reshores and concrete every single day. It does the job easy but is not going to last you as much as it would if you were using it for framing. I broke 2 heads already in 2 years. I love this hammer because It does the job easier, and I'll keep buying heads as long as i keep torturing my hammer. You won't have to buy heads for a long time if you do exclusively wood work.
