Review: Great ideas and presentation, foolproof recipes - We've tried a few recipes and they all turned out really well. The book is well presented, colourful. Child and parent friendly. I have all three books and I must say they are all excellent. This one helps you cut down on over processed sugar while still offering treats for the family. My boys are 10 and 8 and they found the recipes sweet enough. My youngest is 6 months so she'll have to wait a while before she can try them out! We haven't tried the savoury bakes yet, but I am confident they'll turn out as expected. Review: Snacks, lunches, teatime, it's all here! - What a wonderful book this is. There are two in the series, the Red one and the Yellow one. In this one, you will find 100 recipes both savoury and sweet. In a large format, the book is packed with colourful illustrations of the finished product and children both eating and making the dishes. They look as if they had a smashing time. None of the recipes uses masses of ingredients and they mostly consist of what you would find in a kitchen anyway. Cooking and preparation times seem accurate. I have made two recipes so far with my 3-year old granddaughter and she really gets stuck in! Would recommend.

Full of tasty recipes and ideas for my toddler
The book is full of tasty recipes and has been ideal when thinking of new foods for my son. Only knocked a star off as the book arrived with some damage to the spine.

Amazing baking book with excellent receipes
This book is incredible. My kids (4 & 3) absolutely love it. The pictures and instructions are both clear, understandable and the most important....FUN. We have spend many hours baking and cooking with the assistance of Ella's baking book. The recipes are great and the message behind them are clear coming form a responsible and ethical, organic company. Highly recommended as both a gift and personal use

Very pleased with this new cookbook
Another fabulous cook book in the Ella's kitchen line, I have tried a number of recipes from this book and have not been disappointed, I quite often find childrens food quite bland however these recipes and delicious and family friendly! I would highly recommend this book not only to families but also people who want to learn to cook simply, tasty meals from scratch!

Not great
Nice pictures and recipes look easy to follow but I can't say that any of the items really appeal to my children (2&4). Looks like we'll have fun making them but a lot of it will end up in the bin or us parents eating it.

There are plenty of good recipes in this book
There are plenty of good recipes in this book. I particularly like the way it encourages you to involve your children within the cooking process which, in turn, encourages them to eat what you have both prepared. My toddler and I have enjoyed making some of these recipes very much.

Fab baking book for kids of all ages/abilities!
My niece absolutely loves this cookbook, it has a great range of recipes from sweet to savoury and also from really easy recipes to more advanced! She won't grow out of this for a long time. I also like that there are loads of pictures to make the recipes even easier to follow.

The whole family LOVES this book! We purchased this after getting and loving the The Cookbook: The Red One. There were so many great recipes in that one that it was a "yay!" moment when we saw there was another Ella's Kitchen cookbook. Like the Red One, the Yellow One is chock full of kid friendly, easy to make, tasty recipes. And don't think that this book is just about baked goods. It has everything from cinnamon rolls to spaghetti "cake" to quiche to oat bars. I had the kids go through the book and use post-it flags to mark recipes they found which sounded good them. When they were done, there was a sea of yellow and green flags. As for the recipes we've tried, they have all been resounding winners. Cookbooks like these are such a GREAT way to get kids involved in cooking and making healthy eating choices. The recipes don't call for hard to find or processed ingredients. The recipes are simple, short, and use ingredients most of us already have on hand. There are pictures of finished recipes, and tidbits of trivia/information throughout. I really like the "Can I help?" bubbles included with most of the recipes which tells little helpers what they can do. Best part? There's a thank you section in the back of the book for all the kid taste testers. The Yellow One even comes with a page of stickers! I really, really hope there are more offerings from Ella's Cookbooks.

I love the recipes and tried a couple of them for my daughter. When she gets older I can imagine using it together with her. Right now she loves to look at the pictures of the kids in the book while I cook. Can definitely recommend this fun book.
