Released before fully developed.
Nice idea but could have been better executed. Three major failings: setup app still not available; as yet, no streaming services built in; does not support the latest Bluetooth HiFi protocols. Without Spotify Connect, it just sits in in a cupboard unused.

Stunningly capable hi-fi and on the go music streamer when coupled with the Chord Mojo.
The perfect add on for the Chord Mojo with stunning sound quality. I linked this combination up to my hi-fi to compare with mt Chord DSX1000 streamer; the differences are miniscule. Poly/Mojo has a slightly warmer presentation but also offers a little more depth, whereas the DSX1000 offers a slightly more open sound. When it comes to detail and enjoyment of the music I couldn't separate them. However the Poly/Mojo is really for use on the go, at which it excels, particularly if treated to a good set of headphones, not just the freebies that come with some smartphones.Just a few oddities though:1. My model came with the 1.05 firmware, whilst the latest is 1.017. Chord provides instructions on how to update the firmware: connect Poly to Mojo, switch on for 20mins, switch off , switch on again for another 20mins. This worked but I had to do it 3 times as the update first took it to 1.06, then 1.010 and finally, on the 3rd occasion 1.017. No idea why it couldn't go straight from 1.05 to 1.017.2. Play back of FLAC files via DLNA isn't completely gapless. This is claimed to have been fixed with the 1.06 firmware but it clearly wasn't. For most albums where there are gaps between the tracks it isn't really noticeable but with an album like Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon where one track runs seamlessly into the next it is a bit disturbing to have about a half second gap where the music stops before starting the next track. I'm sure Chord will be able to fix this because their DSX1000 hi-fi streamer provides true gapless playback.3. I would like to get a case for the Poly/Mojo combination, but neither of the two options Chord sells features a belt loop, which makes them as far as I am concerned not worth the asking price. Surely it would be logically to be able to have the combined devices on a belt round ones waist?

Great if you want a £479 paperweight
I was excited to get the Poly, given that it would give my Mojo the thing I'd always wanted - the ability to stream, and to play direct from an SD card. At last I'd be able to do so, and that was what Chord promised in their advertising. Sadly, the reality couldn't have been further from the truth. On the odd occasion that Poly works, it sounds amazing, but 9 times out of 10 it simply doesn't work. At the heart of the problem is the software, Chord have yet to provide the GoFigure control app that was promised at launch, and the firmware is still full of bugs.My problems with Poly included:- failing to start up, or taking several minutes to do so- not powering down and going flat before I next used it- unable to connect to networks, or unreliable connection to iPhone- SD card cutting out- in the absence of the software, you have to use a paper clip to get it to change modeI'm amazed Chord have yet to face a class action from their US customers or an investigation by UK consumer rights bodies, if they don't get this fixed soon then that's inevitable.Amazon were excellent and accepted my Poly back without quibble. I'd love to see it work properly one day, and if it does I'll buy back in - but until then I'm pleased to be shot of it, and you should avoid it too.

I'm able to listen to high quality music anywhere with Poly!
The Chord Poly is a great little product that has increased the functionality of my Mojo significantly. I use the Poly to stream my music via Roon throughout my house and while I'm outside and it works flawlessly. It also allows me to listen to my music through Mojo while out walking either form the SD card or by streaming my music from my phone via airplay on iOS or bluetooth. There is a bit of a learning curve with Poly as can be seen from some of the others comments here. For me this learning curve has been worth the effort as I'm finding myself spending more time listening to music and that usually means my enjoyment level is higher. And Poly has not been without it's issues. However Chord has been quite responsive and appears very committed to resolving any issues and providing the software support needed to get the most out of the Poly. I highly recommend the Poly if you're willing to go through the learning curve of setting up this very innovative music streamer....

Horribly complicated and no WiFi streaming
What a disappointment! The instructions are extremely difficult to follow unless you have considerable knowledge of WiFi networks Even then the Poly won't connect to my BT Home Hub because it can't use 5 GHZ, only 2.4 GHZ. Apparently I'm supposed to change this setting in my home hub. The Poly doesn't recognise the 'dash' (-) in the name of my Home Hub either. The GoFigure app which is supposed to help connect to the Internet via WiFi isn't even available in the Google Play Store, which is appalling given the price of the product.Basically, I've been unable to stream any music via WiFi, only Bluetooth and I can't even update the firmware. Goodness knows when the GoFigure app will be released and whether it will fix the issues I've encountered.I expected that for a product which costs so much money, it would be straightforward to use, but instead I've wasted hours going through the manual step by step, to no avail. I feel I've wasted a serious amount of money on a product which has been released too soon.

Once you are past the niggles...
the sound quality is exceptional. Any quick look through the reviews will suggest that the set-up isn't straightforward but it is worth giving it the time. There are few 'gadgets' that can enrich your life. I believe this is one of them. The clarity and musicality allows you to live within the music. I love it.
