Anchor Long Stitch Kit: Spring in The Window, Multi, 15 x 21cm

The media could not be loaded.  I absolutely love this, it took a while for me to purchase as it’s not cheap and am so pleased I eventually did. I lost my dear cat May 2021 and was heartbroken, he was a black cat so this was perfect. I’d seen it many times prior to his passing but when he had I just had to buy it.It wasn’t as hard as I thought, it took me a while to get started as I was anxious as to whether I could do it but as images show I did. It’s not perfect but it is for me as a memory piece.The 4 stars is purely down to the material, I wasn’t keen working on it but I can see why it was chosen with using such thick strands.I would highly recommend it and would say that I’m no expert but I managed, even a beginner could do this.I was going to make a cushion cover and add this onto it, but I’ve decided on a frame instead to protect it. Which ever I decide in the end I’ll upload an updated image.

I absolutely love this picture and would highly recommend it as it is thoroughly enjoyable. The reason for 4 stars as opposed to 5 is that there were a few typos in my instructions which if followed blindly would have caused there to be pink and red leaves in random places. I also ran out of one of the greens which I have realised was due to the instructions saying to do certain leaves in that colour which (after having run out of that thread and then carefully inspecting the front cover picture) should have been done in a different shade. Was able to get the thread I needed from amazon so not the end of the world. The main thing I would say is pay close attention to the coloured picture as well as the instructions. None of these issues detract from the end result though and I would buy it again in a heart beat:)

My 92 yo mother, a very experienced knitter and stitcher, found this positively challenging. Lots of intricate bits (for her) which were good for her mental stimulation. Some bits she changed to suit her personal artistic appreciation. She beamed with pride when the finished picture was framed and hung up in her room. The vibrant indoor colours were highlighted by the outdoor snowy landscape. The cat looks better with a red collar!

This was a gift. Item appeared as described & arrived promptly.

Was bought as a gift. The transaction was very smooth and efficient. The long-stitch is now finished and looks lovely. Some bits were a little fiddly but very pleased with result. A particularly eye-catching and detailed long-stitch pattern.
