Caseflex Shockproof Hard Drive Case for 2.5 Inch Portable External Hard Drives - Black

Amazing price for such a great quality case! My WD Elements 2TB hard drive fits inside perfectly. Two straps hold it in place nicely and a padded flap ensures that the wires kept in the other compartment won't scratch the hard drive. The case itself is a hard shell case (will provide excellent protection if dropped) that isn't too big or bulky and the hard drive can be removed and replaced inside of the case very easily. I am so so happy with this item as I had been looking for cases all over the place but couldn't find a decent one for a low price or a smaller size that I'd be willing to take with me on my travels. Would definitely recommend. Just make sure that the case is large enough for your hard drive as any larger than what I have inside mine would be too large for it. The dimensions of the case would fit a hard drive approximately 5" X 3.5" X 1" maximum in size.

I'm really quite pleased with this case. It has a rigid outer shell and soft padding inside but is not too heavy overall. It's certainly much better than the cloth drawstring bags I have used that offer very little protection. The HDD USB cable is kept in a separate compartment and it's impossible for it to scratch the outside of the HDD.Twin zips mean the HDD can be used with the case zipped up if required. As others have commented it can take a little squeeze to get the zips done up however the internal padding is arranged as raised 'bumps' and these are obviously designed to readily deform in order to hold the HDD snugly (external dimensions of my HDD are given below). There is a small internal zipped pocket but be warned there might be limited space for memory cards in addition to the HDD cable. A clip-on wrist strap is included.I have awarded 4 stars because there is a gap around my HDD when fitted and I think the internal edges could be better padded (see photos). This is not an issue for me as I won't be dropping the case from great heights. Otherwise the quality appears very good and hopefully this case will prove durable.For information my HDD is a Toshiba 1TB Canvio Basics model measuring exactly 119 x 79 x 13mm

This case is excellent. Before buying it, I found very good reviews for and can only add one more. It has enough room for my MD hard drive ‘MyPassport for Mac’ + cable. It provides strong protection, the double zip is excellent quality, it has a pocket to store the cable and an extra small pocket to store for example memory cards. The intermediate layer inside the case is excellent because it protects the hard drive from scratching for example by the metal bits form cables. Very happy with this case, will buy more.

The Caseflex Shockproof Hard Case arrived very quickly and in good condition. I am using it for a Seagate 2TB drive and it is held in place by the two elastic straps. The disk easily fits under the straps with room to spare, so a slighly larger drive would fit. In the lid section there is plenty of room for the drive's USB cable and a few other bits and pieces. There is extra padding between the side of the case where the drive is placed and the lid side.There is a small zipped area on the lid side of this central padding. This would just about fit 3 or 4 SD cards. The case seems quite robust and is fairly hard. I am not going to test it though! It would probably keep a disk drive safe if the case was knocked off a table onto the floor, or being put in a non rigid bag or case for a plane journey, but it wouldn't be enough protection for much more and I don't think it is waterproof, though it is probably showerproof - but I am not going to test it to see! Overall I am pleased with the case and it fulfills all my requirements.

Very sturdily made. My Toshiba 2.5" drive fits in the allotted space nicely. But once I put the cable into the opposite side it becomes quite tight to close the zip, because the padded separator (which is nice to have, I hasten to add!) takes up most of the spare room available.I am happy overall, but if the zip breaks then the case will not fulfil its function. Hoping the case adjusts to the contents and it all beds in after a short time.

Using this for a Seagate 2TB portable drive which fits very snugly and securely behind the retaining bands. Additional (protected) storage for USB cable etc very useful. Whole case feels very strong and resilient. Additional carrying strap and fitted belt strap also useful features. All round double zipping makes for easy access to all items. Excellent value for money

The Seagate Expansion 2TB fits in this case perfectly.The hard drive fills up the space inside nicely and the elastic straps hold it in place so it doesn't jiggle around inside. The case closes over without having to be forced and can be zipped up easily.The outer case material is hard and rigid and the inside material is soft with added foam protrusions to enhance shock absorption. The middle flap also has these foam protrusions.Great case, pleased with purchase.
