Trim Router That Can Plunge
Cheap trim router that can plunge like a normal router.Don't expect it to cut too much at once.Powerfull enough for small jobs at a small price.Only problem is, the spanner that came with it doesn't fit.A tiny 10mm instead of a proper 16mm.

The instruction manual is very poor, I purchased this for my hubby but he has found great difficulty in putting router together and the instructions supplied did not show, he has been trying for days, I have tried obtaining instructions through You Tube and through Silverstorm to no avail.I suggest that Silverstorm look at their instruction book again- suggestions being put it in larger print and more information on how to put the handles on. I would say this is not suitable for a beginner. Also possibly a video on the website when ordering so that people can see how it is assembled

A great trim router with countless uses because of its standard 43mm diameter collar allows for fitting to the standard drill press. It is perfect for chamfers and round-offs and the low price means you can have several dedicated units. It has no micro-depth setting.

3 USES AND BROKEN!
Purchased less than 6 weeks ago from One Safe Source (through Amazon), and the 1/4" collet broke on the 3rd use. I am informed by Customer Service at One Safe Source that the collet is a WEAR PART and not covered under warranty!!! I have tried to purchase a collet but Silverline do not stock as a standard 'wear part'. I now have a router that is not fit for the purpose intended. What a waste of money!!AVOID THIS ROUTER AND THIS COMPANY (ONE SAFE SOURCE) LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!
