Easy to install with clear instructions, works really well

We had trouble getting the back off as the screws are extremely small, very tight and deeply recessed. However, the seller immediately sent us a replacement and we fitted it without major difficulty. We were replacing a unit that had been vandalised so had to use our existing wiring into the side of the new unit. This means the wire is exposed but that is only a minor inconvenience. The unit is working fine and we are very happy with the product and the service we received.

Used to connect up a 20w LED flood light on the back of my house. Easy to fit although room inside for the 2 cables and the connector was a bit tight, not helped by the supply cable on my house being very thick and rigid. Very good detection range that covers my whole patio from 180 degrees so when I walk out the door the light comes on immediately. The max light time is 7 mins after detection and there is no manual override to have the light on permanently but that is not an issue for me. Build quality feels good.

I buy these annually as I find that they rarely last a winter here in Scotland. This is not really surprising as they are rated IP44 which is not robust enough to a face constant lashing of autumn winter rain and gales. But when they are working they work well with good adjustments and good range from the sensors. They are cheap so I am happy to get a years use out of them .

Eventually got round to installing this sensor as a replacement for a previous one. Easily wired by a non professional and works perfectly. One thing to emphasise is that the working range is 12m. I had initially chosen a site outside this distance and thought there was something wrong with the product but having read over the instructions I realised that I was outside the distance specificed. A simple relocation and the problem was sorted.

Good value, excellent fitting instructions and works OK. Adjustment knobs a bit fiddly and the bit you break out to admit the cables was difficult to break, but overall still a very good buy.

Easy to fit does what it says

As well as having controls for light level and duration this is excellently sensitive. Mine's in a shed and triggers through the glass from at least 15m away. Mine only powers an LED light so beware if switching the cold current to a heavy incandescent flood light. If doing that then suggest using a relay.
