Q: If I link up a pair of these to the line out on a Cocktail x10 using. 3.5 to 2x6.35 will the sound be in stereo?

Yes, it will work... But I'm not sure if I'd choose BX5's for general music playback. They're designed as studio reference monitors, and have a fairly flat frequency response, so CD's etc. may sound a bit lacking the mid/presence area. You'll probably have to choose one of the settings in the EQ menu to correct this. Or just get a pair of good passive HiFi speakers and connect the L/R speaker outputs to them.

The speakers take an analog input so you’ll need to either gat a DAC or check if your PC does analog-out natively

I've got them plugged straight into my monitor for when I'm console gaming and they sound the same as through my audio interface on my PC if that helps

Hi,Yes as these speakers have their own powered amp built in. You will just need a pair of speaker cables from your mixer to the speakers
