I tried using self-adhesive labels to mark up my possessions before storing in the loft but they always fell off. I now use these labels and they are a big improvement. I just make a small hole on the box or find an alternative attachment point and thread the label string through. Good value and hard to find in the shops.

Never thought I'd write a review for Tie Card Tags and didn't read any reviews before purchasing.Not sure I understand the bad reviews, clearly there are connoisseurs of tie tags with high expectations which none the less doesn't make their views any less valid.For myself I was pleasantly surprised at their size and I knew they would come pre stringed, which for my purposes are long enough.The arrived loose in a flimsy package, which was intact and on time.However they are not manila or buff, not even close, they are darkish brown, hard board colour is the closest description I can give and as I will be writing in pencil on these I am wondering if it will be readable, I'll find out soon enough.As for the smell, the consensus is they do and---they do. Call it farm house, pee, wet dog, it's not far wrong but the recycled paper wrapping Amazon use in their boxes is the same if not stronger.It must be the chemical processes used in the recycling of waste paper,--but it stinks.Which leads me to my 2 main concerns, will any chemicals used leach on to the item/s they are tied to and will the smell impregnate the item, in my case cloth?I couldn't find large acid free tie card tags in a large number, so am considering whether to use them for my needs.Nonetheless, they are what they are, large and good value but use with caution on absorbent material.

Nice quality labels that I am using for all sorts of stuff including retro looking Christmas labels!!!! The string is long enough to tie the label around quite a large jar. Both ballpoints and markers write well on the labels, without smudging or bleeding. If like me you are always reaching for a label for something, then I recommend these for your stationary drawer!

Fab old fashioned parcel labels. Sturdy card material. Good size. Perfect for labelling hand-made crafts. Good value for money. So pleased I ordered more.

Great product, but they smell awful - like vomit. Tough to have in the open, not sure how to remove the smell either. They are good quality physically.

Ho ordinato questi tag, facendo affidamento sull'immagine dimostrativa,non commettete lo stesso errore.Il colore è orrendo, grigiastro con rinforzo marrone scuro, insomma non c'entra niente con l'immagine.Ne ho ordinati ben 500 e sono arrivati tutti piegati, per come li hanno sistemati nella scatola hanno assunto tutti una orribile forma ad S.Infine la carta è troppo morbida, non ha una minima rigidezza tipica di un cartoncino, forse è un 160gr.Delusione totale, sto cercando di restituirli ma con quello che ho speso per la spedizione ci andrò sicuramente a perdere.Davvero molto delusa e contrariata.
