Panasonic BK-4MCCE/4BE Eneloop Micro AAA 750 mAh Rechargeable Battery (Pack of 4)

Bought to replace others that in their turn replaced the original set in the main unit of a trio-pack of DECT phones, one of which is used more than the others. They were the type and capacity then strongly recommended as 'ideal' when ordered on-line. Currently, after a full charge, that phone is only offering about 20 minutes' of talk time and a longer standby time, but only about an hour. The other two units seem to be able to provide longer talk times and apparently almost limitless standby time per charge despite their batteries being of a lesser 650 mAh capacity than the 750 mAh of the later replacements used in the parent unit, these also being 750 mAh! They are also delivered fully charged and immediately usable. Unusually, Panasonic are claimimg a lifetime limit of around 2,100 recharge cycles for these which relates well against the 500-1000 cycles usually quoted for most lithium-ion types; some may offer only 250-300! It is also claimed that they will be able to accept a lesser charge even after 10 years' of use which should reassure. As, with any rechargeable batteries, they will need a few charge-discharge cycles before achieving their maximum capabilities but they appear, even when new, to be able to offer more usage time than the set they replaced which, from memory, are no more than 2-3-years-old.

Good capacity, plenty of charge on receipt, just needed a top-up to 100% before use. Look forward the the high spec on number of recharge cycles just for cordless phones.

What can I say. They are the best batteries in the world, I've never bought anything else since discovering these. Eneloops use a newer technology to the usual NiMh batteries which allows them to keep their charge for exemely long periods. You could for instance charge them up and know that when you need to use them they will have a full or close to full charge in them. I believe that in one year they will lose around 8% or so. With NiHh batteries they will leak much faster and so if you come to use them say after 3 months they will be flat. As a photographer I found them incredibly useful because of the longevity an low leakage making it less time consuming and convenient to pre-charge my flashlight batteries well in advance and knowing I could just pop a couple of spare sets and they'd be ready to go. I'm sure that many manufacturers have now adopted this technology but Panasonic were the first and I always found them to be great.

The best rechargeable batteries I've ever used. Don't for pity's sake buy Energizer. They're utterly dreadful. These are the business however and seem to recharge reliably, hold their charge for a decent amount of time and don't go dead. If you do find your rechargeable batteries have gone dead and your charger can't revive them then there's a simple trick you'll find invaluable. Don't dispose of them. It's likely they can be resuscitated. Just go to YouTube and search for 'jump-starting dead rechargeable batteries' or something similar. It'll save you a fortune. All you need is a pair of metal salad tongs, steady hands and ten seconds of free time. I hope this has been useful.

Bought two sets of these 4 years ago (2016) still going strong in phones, each charge last around 4 weeks. Excellent quality. Bit expensive but worth the extra.

My landline phones were on their last legs and I seriously considered buying some new phones. When I checked the batteries inside and found that they were AA batteries it occurred to me that replacing the batteries might do the trick. Once charged, I put the new eneloop batteries in both handsets and now they are working a treat. I can have the handset of the base for 6 days before it needs to be charged again. This is actually better than the original batteries when the phones were first used! Glad to have saved myself the effort of looking for new phones!!

As per the title, these are the best. Note that they are marketed under at least three brands (Panasonic, Fujitsu, Duracell). If they are made in Japan, then they are these. Not all Duracells are made in Japan, so check the packet. Note also that rechargeable NiMH batteries are not suitable for all devices as they produce 1.2 volts, not 1.5. These don’t work in my Arcam hifi control unit, it needs disposable batteries, sadly. These work fine in my torches, kitchen scales and magnifier.

These are far better than older NimH batteries which lose their charge in weeks. As a wedding photographer I had to make sure my flash batteries were charged the day before a shoot or they could let me down. These Eneloop cells stay charged for years - now I no longer do weddings my camera flash batteries don't need charging from one year to another. I wish these had been available earlier. They are also perfect for low power situations like remote controls or clocks. Some people might think this is an overkill as batteries in remotes and clocks usually last for more than a year but this way you are never stuck and don't have to put anything into landfill. Just keep a couple of spares and you are up and running immediately while the used ones are charged. Buy once and no more worries.

Panasonic Eneloop rechargeable batteries are the best I ever used. I have used many brands for the last 30 years and these last longer than any I have used. I use them in my handheld amateur radios which burn up batteries very quickly. Eneloops last longer than any I have used. They also charge fast. No complaints

Panasonic Eneloop Akkus zeichnen sich vor allem durch ihre ausgezeichnete Langlebigkeit und damit die deutlichen Vorteile bei der Anzahl an Ladezyklen aus. Entsprechend sind sie ausgezeichnet für Geräte mit sehr häufigen Lade-/ Entladezyklen aus dem täglichen Gebrauch geeignet. Bisher habe ich diese Akkus schon in mehreren Geräten im Einsatz gehabt und die Investition hat sich bisher noch in jedem Fall gelohnt. Auch die Packungsgröße mit 4 Akkus in einer Verpackungseinheit ist sehr praxistauglich. Freilich - es gibt sicherlich deutlich billigere Akkus anderer Hersteller zu kaufen. Und Eneloop-Akkus bestechen jetzt auch nicht wirklich mit besonders hohen Kapazitätsangaben auf der Verpackung. Andererseits kann man sich bei Eneloop aber auch sicher sein daß die angegebene Kapazität bei den gekauften Akkus auch (nachmessbar!) erreicht wird! In vielen Fällen, gerade bei billigen Chinesischen Produkten, findet man auf den Akkus ja extrem hohe Fantasiezahlen. Misst man die Kapazität aber wirklich mal nach, so stellt man sehr leicht fest daß die tatsächlich vorhandene Speicherkapazität gerade einmal einem Bruchteil der aufgedruckten Werte entspricht. Wofür ist dieser Akku geeignet? Ich betreibe diesen Akku in der Mobileinheit eines DECT-Telefons. Dort wird der Akku natürlich sehr häufig immer wieder etwas entladen, dann wieder nachgeladen. Entsprechend kommt so eine hohe Anzahl an Ladezyklen zusammen. Diesen Betrieb meistert der Akkusatz bisher bestens und ohne Einbuße bei der Kapazität. Was generell Akkus nicht so gerne "mögen" sind aber Tiefst-Entladungen. Diese treten vor allem bei Taschenlampen oder Fernbedienungen auf. Häufig wird bei derartigen Gerätschaften so lange elektrische Energie entnommen bis das Gerät überhaupt nicht mehr funktioniert. Für Akkus ist diese Praxis aber absolutes Gift, die Akkus gehen schneller als nötig kaputt. Sehr viel besser ist es, die Akkus in einem Bereich zu halten wo sie weder bis zum Tiefststand entladen, noch bis auf das letzte bischen Kapazität endlos geladen werden. Beachtet man diese beiden Punkte, so kann man die Akkus auch bedenkenlos z. B. in Fernbedienungen oder anderen Batterie-/ Akku- betriebenen Geräten verwenden. Aber wegen der grundsätzlichen Einschränkung bezüglich Lade-/ Entladezustand ziehe ich Akkus generell einen Stern für den Verwendungszweck "Fernbedienung" ab! Würde ich Panasonic Eneloop Akkus empfehlen? Wenn grundsätzlich vom Verwendungszweck Akkus in Frage kommen (siehe vorhergehende Erklärung!) dann gilt für Eneloop Akkus meine *absolute Kaufempfehlung* ! Es wird auf der Verpackung nicht das blaue vom Himmel versprochen, die gemachten Angaben sind aber fair und werden nachprüfbar erreicht!
