You won't find a more bizarre honey
Seen in an Italian travel series hosted by Stanley Tucci, this very exotic honey comes only from the island of Sardinia off the coast of Italy in the Mediterranean where it is called "Bitter Honey" (for good reason!) As a single source honey, it is harvested solely from the flowers of the Wild Strawberry grown on the island. This plant is actually a tree and not related at all to the ground berry you're used to. Probably the strongest flavored honey I've ever had, it certainly is the strangest though not unpleasant (warning: I prefer full-flavored single source honeys). Sweet, grainy, medium amber, the aroma reminds me faintly of the smoke used in honey collection. But its profile is due to the bizarre flowers of this tree. Not for the faint of heart, the honey has a strong flavor of wood ash on the aftertaste. I really like it for its truly bizarre flavor and uniqueness. Due to the bizarre nature of the flavor, I eat it plain out of the jar as I cannot imagine it in baked goods unless they're savory. Certainly the strangest honey I've had but, again, not unpleasant at all, just unique. If you are a honey connoisseur, you need to try this honey.

Arrived as leaking mess, but its unique and tastey!
I ordered this once before and its bitter but tasty. Unique.Sadly, my second order arrived as a gooey mess. The seal is intact but doesnt mean a thing if the lid was not on right. On detailed inspection, the lid wasnt screwed on and a bunch leaked out. Honey gets runny in 100deg summer day.Now i may die early cause my blue zone honey didnt arrive in the jar!!!!Notified the seller, and they responded quickly and super friendly. Way better service and concern than other sellers. They apologized and sent me a new shipment. Its good honey and good service if you need it!

One of a Kind Honey
This is one of a kind, high quality, raw honey. It is slightly bitter, yet pleasantly sweet with an excellent aroma. I and my family truly love it. It is our morning must before having breakfast! We especially like the honey when it is crystalized, and we never thaw it to preserve its healing properties. The honey is always well-packaged with small, informative brochures about its origin. The seller provides detailed information about the purchase the moment it ships. Communication with the seller has always been very pleasant and cordial! Thank you very much!

Unusual but excellent
The important thing to note when trying this is that it isn’t sweet it’s bitter. that is intentional but is not what one is necessarily expecting.

Bitter and inedible “honey”
The honey was bitter and inedible and not able to be returned. It tastes horrible no one can eat it and something was clearly wrong with it!!

Surprising Flavor - It's All Good
I really love this honey. I microwave a tablespoon for 10 seconds to get it to liquify. I pour it over pancakes. It is not sweet like conventional honey. It has a complex flavor with a very slight, bitter taste. I have it with pancakes and coffee and it pairs really well with them. I am glad I gave it a try, it was worth it.

An Artisanal Honey With Intense Bitter And Smoky Notes That Will Pair Well With Rich Foods
When I first opened the jar of WellEatable Corbezzolo Raw Honey, I found a beautiful chestnut/hazelnut colored honey that had a soft, solid with a slight granulated texture. The manufacturer noted that you can slowly heat the jar in hot water at 100 degrees F to re-liquify the honey. On my first bite, it started off on a familiar sweet note of honey but gradually the once soft bitter notes became more pronounced and prominent. It finished on flavor notes that reminded me of blackstrap molasses. It was smoky, bitter, not sweet and oddly I also detected coffee notes. I read the label again as I had thought it would be sweet like strawberry but upon re-reading the label I saw that it was listed as Wild Strawberry Tree Honey. The manufacturer noted that it is a rare artisanal honey known for its bitter-sweet taste and its toasted hazelnut and freshly ground coffee flavors. I did not detect or notice any hazelnut flavors. The bitter notes were dominating and remind me strongly of blackstrap molasses. As a result, this is not a honey that I would recommend using on a piece of toast or in your tea unless you enjoy bitter flavors. I plan to pair the honey when making oven baked bacon or when I roast a lamb as I think it would be complemented with the specific flavor notes that I tasted from this honey from Sardinia. I found online that a recommended pairing for this honey is Pecorino, Ricotta, or Grana Cheese made from Sheep's milk. The Corbezzolo Honey is a specialty product from Sardinia and a product that you either fall madly in love with or loathe with a passion. If you are anticipating a sweet honey, this is not it. I personally don't love it as I am not a fan of bitter flavors. The product that I received has a best by date of 15 months from the date that I received it. It is a Product of Italy. The honey was gathered through sustainable beekeeping. Overall, I think that if you are a fan of bitter flavors or if you want a honey that is not like one you've ever tasted, I think this is the honey for you and is worth a try. It is a high quality honey but sadly I am just not a fan of its intense bitter flavor.
