Excellent
I used this to spray some old furniture and the results far exceeded my expectations, even though I have no experience of spraying at all. I have a small compressor (180 L/min) - the kind you'd pick up in a DIY store for about £100. I used a water-based non-drip gloss paint. I stirred the paint to make it liquid, then added a little water at a time, spraying into an old cardboard box until it sprayed consistently. I would say it ended up roughly the consistency of single cream, perhaps a little thinner.Spraying was very easy. I sprayed lots of thin coats, which dried within minutes. Because of the quick drying time the job was completed much more quickly than using a brush, and the result is outstanding. Even with my total inexperience, the result is far, far better than using a brush, with a beautiful smooth finish that looks very professional. The sprayer itself seems well made with nothing that could really go wrong. I'm struggling to understand how anyone could say anything negative about this tool. For me this sprayer worked absolutely perfectly.

Good but could be better with a few simple improvements
For the money it's pretty good, with a few minor improvements it could be excellent.Improve the seal that goes between the paint pot and the gun. There needs to be a lining cup with a breather hole 180 degrees from the breather hole in the paint pot lid because any agitation to the paint in the pot causes paint to spill from the breatherimprove the handle shape, my ring finger knuckle became blistered due to the juxtaposition of the paint pot lid to the handleimprove the instructionsi had to remove a plastic 'washer' from between the nozzle and the 'inner' nozzle, for some reason this washer was causing a blockage and air being sent back into the paint pot.Other than that it gave a very good finish at a very good price

Useless piece of junk
I've had two of these. The first worked for a short while then wouldn't turn off. No matter how much I cleaned it the problem persisted.I contacted amazon who send out a replacement, this one lasted for about 5 minutes before I had exactly the same problem. You'll spend far more time trying to get this rubbish to work then you will spend using it.I took it to a couple of paint specialists to ask if they might know what the problem was, they told me they wouldn't touch silverline products with a barge pole.So I bought a spraygun from screwfix. It cost a bit more but has a few attachements. It lookes identical except it didn't have the 'silverline' badge on it. This works perfectly.

Good value
Very good for the price. Works well comes with uk and eu connector, after fitting uk connector found it did not fit my 10 yr old argos compressor but the eu one fitted.

Spray Gun
Have had no problems with the Silverline Spray Gun. It arrived on time and well packaged. It is being used in the renovation of a vehicle and has good spraying levels. It is easily cleaned out. Well worth the money for the service it is giving.
