## Questions & Answers

**Q: I started removing artex from my stairs and havent managed to finish the job. Will this go over artex?**
A: Just a note on those “removing”artex. Be aware that if the artex is more than 20 years old, give or take a year, it is likely to contain asbestos and should be removed professionally if you want to remove it. The best thing you can do is skim over it, rather than remove it, as it only becomes dangerous once disturbed by breaking the fibres.

**Q: Does anyone know if this shrinks when dry. Ive tried loads brands and they all shrink a little when dry leaving a dip**
A: No it doe's not shrink. Apply it as it comes out of the tub. As an ex pro (building maintenance) Clean out the crack then apply PVA, allow to dry then use the filler. leave slightly proud, let it dry for 24hrs, sand back smooth and paint some undercoat over it to make a seal.

**Q: Will this adhere to a concrete floor? My floor has a step in it which I need to ramp out before flooring goes down, thanks**
A: This is not suitable for concrete floors. We'd recommend Polycell Quick Set Cement instead.

**Q: In the description it says `do not fill more than 50mm in one application'. is this 50mm in depth? the maximum depth i have is 25mm. is this suitable?**
A: Yes that's correct - this means 50mm in depth. 25mm will be perfectly fine for this product.
