for the money it is simple, easy to use, and creates those amazing time-lapse scenes.obviously you don't want to go mad and use time lapse sequences all the time but it is cool.Also very good to do slow panoramic pans for a really smooth pro effect.I have also mounted it on its side for pan ups/down although the camera I have is light weight with no problem

Purchased this for time lapse but have not used it for that purpose yet, only used it for panoramic video on a table top and tripod in the house and the garden. It does appear to work quite well with lighter lenses but does seem to struggle with my heavier 100/300 tele lens, at the faster speeds it copes well with all my lenses but at slower speeds it jitters a bit the more weight you apply. 0verall I am happy with this device usb charging a bonus, takes awhile to charge 6 to 8 hours and lasts with average usage about 5 to 6 hours. You would have to pay a lot more for a more precise device I'm sure but for the price paid its pretty good, comes with handy little case and charging cable plus phone mount and go pro mount plus instruction booklet. Not for the professional I suspect but great fun for the hobbyist like me it does give pretty good results for what it is but don't expect perfection. I recommend this item if on a budget like me it really is ok for the price. 5*****

Would of given 5 star but there is no rubber plug to make the charging port weather proof hoping the rest is water resistant as was using it in porting rain today

When using this for time-lapse, the mechanism stops, and momentarily reverses direction, before starting again. Obviously this happens too slowly to discern visually, but is very noticeable when looking at time-lapse footage. The mechanism can be heard at faster speeds so, if sound is important, you'll need to record externally. The battery seems to last for around 3 hours, rather than the claimed 6 hours.These issues don't affect my own usage, and I wasn't expecting much for such a low price, but these limitations may come as a disappointment for others.

This item is not so lightweight but that’s a good thing as I’ve tried another make and it felt too light and shook. I’ve only used it on holidays in Sri Lanka and it did the job well. A bit of a luxury having it in my kit bag as I use it rarely but I like it and it feels like it will last a lifetime as it’s a solid make.

Excellent product. Well made and simple to use. Limited to 1 hour timelapse so if you want to do longer look at their other models.

Worked for 3 minutes had to return. Faulty battery on arrival.While it did work it was very smooth. The buttons were also miss labed rotaion and time were back to front.The size of the unit was bigger and much heavier than expected as i wished to use it for gopro time lapse. Ifnit was working fine it would be ok for an slr if you no not mind the size and weight of it. I will stick with the little £27 motorised time lapse head from amazon as its small and very light but sadly only rotates clockwise.

Easy to use and lots of advice on youtude how to make great videos. Time lapse and room views. You'll enjoy this piece of kit. Value for money.

Works great. Tried it over the weekend and was very surprised of the result. It would be good to have more increment for the time but I made it with what was there. Looking forward to using it again.

Compré este "cabezal para trípode" para hacer vídeo más que para Time Lapses (es decir, grabación contínua a editar posteriormente, no fotografía de disparos programados) y estoy muy a gusto con él.Es muy robusto y estable, se nota que no es 100% de plástico, y su peso más que incomodidad ofrece la seguridad de que no se moverá por el viento. Lo he probado con una GoPro y el adaptador cumple a la perfección (a mí no me ha pasado, pero ojo con la inclinación de la cámara para que no salga el borde) y con una SLR, aunque tenía un poco de precaución ante el peso de la misma. Sin embargo, mi Canon 650D + Sigma 17-50mm 2.8 se movió con fluidez durante los 15 minutos /180º a los que lo programé.Se que hay modelos más baratos en el mercado, pero dudo de que aguanten el peso de mi equipo y no me consta que, además, tengan la posibilidad de hacer el giro en sentido anti-horario.¿Una pega? Por ponerle una, la ausencia de un nivel. Si no tienes uno en tu trípode o si lo usas sin él, corres el riesgo de que los vídeos salgan levemente torcidos.

Works very well. Carries a bit of weight but seems and feels like a quality product. The unit is accurate but needs a strong tripod or similar to support it with a camera attached. However you know what you are in for when you purchase the unit. It’s all about achieving the result you need.
