Very strong.
Strong and sturdy, very reliable. Had to switch from my broken unit. Tried this one and was surprised with how strong it is. Very easy to install and the unit is very strong.

Sturdy construction
I used this to replace my original latch of 20yrs. When comparing the two, this latch feels much sturdier and better built. Very easy to remove screw and convert from right to left swing. Install was easy and painless although I found it easier to use my existing screws rather than ones provided. Best price available. Highly recommended.

Quality product
This is a quality latch compared to what Box Stores sell. Thick powder coat. Latch rod has sealed ends instead of open pipe - the open pipe allows water & rusts off in a year. The latch movement has a #12 screw - not just 'volcano hole' pivot that relies on fit

Fits great and works great
I just got the latch yesterday and put it on my wooden deck gate. It was really easy to install if you follow the steps. Luckily I was able to find an 1/8th inch drill bit in my garage. The latch fit my application perfectly. Also, I really like how it operates. Crisp and clean closing the gate. Hit the lever to open the gate.
