I have always preferred this type of visor when out in the sun for shorter periods of time (not all day, would wear a hat with a brim all the way around for that). I like to put this on & pull the coils to the base of my neck & put my hair over them--this lifts my hair a bit & gives me some air flow on the back of the neck, great for hot days.I used to be able to find these visors in drug stores or at events like the annual local fair in some vendors' stall for a reasonable price. Lately it's been getting harder to find ones that aren't super cheapy-cheap (like the foam ones, ugh). I purchased this one here on Amazon and like it, the brim is a bit longer and wider for additional face protection and is sturdy and the coils are also sturdy and thick.

The coil back allows for adjusting the tightness while minimizing damage to your hair.

Cushees makes the best coil-back visors. No foam (ugh), and quality materials. They have the right visor length, and they curve around the sides in a flattering way, unlike many other brands, that make one look like a golfer or a baseball fan. They coil back makes them comfortable.If you need very broad sun coverage, this visor will not do the trick. You'll need the giant visor type or a good brimmed sunhat.Other than that, I highly recommend.I would like to see more colors, including bright colors like rose, purple, lime green, magenta, bright blue, without decorations or stripes or designs.

Used to be able to get these in the flea market but now with Covid so many sellers have gone out of business I couldn't find them anymore. So good to see they are available on Amazon. Very comfy with the coil back, they stay up without being so tight I get a headache like other hats. Colors are good too, I've bought them in 3 colors. They provide very good sun protection, especially from the sides (over the ears) without looking clunky and catching the wind with every breeze.

This visor provides great sun protection, is pinch free and very well constructed. The pink is a very nice color. Will definitely buy again.

Liked it so much, I gave it to my mom one day when boating and she kept it. I ordered myself another one. The bill is larger than I like, but it really works great. It's comfortable and fits right in my hairline so doesn't leave a deep mark.
