Diprobase Ointment 50g

If you are buying this product then it is likely you have been prescribed it in the past or have heard that it will assist your skin condition.Essentially it is a moisturiser for people who cannot use certain other moisturisers because of their specific ingredients. It has the consistency of petroleum jelly and none of the associated stench of that product.It goes on reasonably smoothly and does provide relief for skin conditions, and also has the side effect of kiling itches as it works!Large tub that should last some time, great value for money and highly reccomended as an alternative to the teeny tiny tubes you can purchase.

Its like a vaseline oil. I got it cause my friend recommended it as it works for her child however it didn't work for mine. If your looking for a vaseline based treatment this is perfect

This ointment is reasonably priced and eases my eczema very quickly, but it doesn't dry my skin. I am very pleased with everything about this ointment but I am using it sparingly.

Good ointment. I get an allergy with lipsticks so use a thin smear of this on my lips before applying and it stops any flare up. Great on dry skin patch or eczema areas.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL! I had just overcome really bad eczema to a very manageable level so I bought this in order to win the battle and finally gain control over my skin. The first night of using this I found that my body temperature increased significantly and I had to sleep with a fan on high blast. This is even more ridiculous when you discover I live in Wales, which is basically a giant freezer for most of the year.After being uncomfortably itchy and anxious during the night I awoke to discover my skin was covered in a red, tiny blisters in the areas I used the skin.I WILL NOT be buying or using this cream again, total waste of money.To be fair it does list some side effects in the booklet, but these are hidden away and you certainly wouldn't expect something "over the counter" to cause this sort of damage.I would not discourage anyone from buying this too strongly as everyone's skin is different. However, I still maintain the best treatment for the condition is an extremely strict, healthy diet (lots of green or nettle tea), limited alcohol (cider if you have to), plenty of regular cardo exercise at least three times a week and the odd application of vaseline before bed.

I seem to have a problem with this making the condition worse. The lotion is fine. Perhaps this was too heavy. Discontinued use.

Recommended to me by a friend. It cleared up my little girls dry skin that she'd had for weeks in a couple of days. I'd tried other creams but none had worked. I also bought the lotion for her face, which is less greasy.

Has worked wonders on my hand eczema.I put this on at night and then some cotton gloves and it has cut down the amount of times I need to use steroid cream. I use Diprobase cream during the day

A family member has used this ointment to deal with psoriasis and it hasn't helped the person much. Maybe if you are dealing with another sort of skin disease then it might just be right for you but it did not tend to really work out for the person I purchased this for.

My RX cream continues to be in the best interest for recurring flare ups. Diprobase isn't medicinal on the strength level. I will use it up with the cotton gloves at bedtime .

Have very bad eczema. Loved this product upon applying it, but then my skin began to burn. Tried it twice. Both times, skin burned when I applied it at night and tried to sleep in it. Really sorry about this, too, because the product feels wonderful going on.
