Q: Can you use this with bioethanol

The instructions reccomended that you don't use any flamable liquids, just kindling & Coal.

Q: What is the cooking grill made of?

Its just like the ones in an oven indoors. If you buy this, do not leave it outside in all weathers. It has to be put away or it will rust to pieces. I left mine out and mine is only fit for the bin now. In fact, the cooking grill is the only salvageable part! Mine, however only cost me something like £29.99. I don't know why this is so expensive. I've bought 2 so far. Still have the grills! I would buy another at the same price but I would not buy it for £64.99. Thats just my totally honest opinion. Also, make sure you clear the hot Ash from the plate below as it builds up or it will burn a hole in the bottom.

Q: Can you use wood as well as charcoal

Yes we use wood for quick heat Charcoal for cooking or smokeless coal for longer lasting heat

Q: Does the base become too hot to use on an artificial surface

Yes it does get hot we overcome this by buying a cheap paving stone to rest it on, we have really enjoyed this cheap little burner :)
